Our ‘Spezial’ imprint celebrates its 10th release with a superb insight into the dramatic, dub-techno meets jazz-house sound of Leipzig’s Sven Tasnadi & Juno6. Having already both released on Liebe*Detail individually, the two producers and close friends found inspiration in each other’s broad talents and unique sound ideas, resulting in two very special new cuts and a stunning remix by fellow townsman Marko Fürstenberg. ‘Tranquillo’ is a roaming, multi-timbral trip into playful, jazz-inspired modern deep house. Moving and shaking, and full of unexpected and energetic twists and turns, its a balmy, high class musical adventure thats complemented perfectly by its B-side partner, ‘Hotel Seeblick’. Where as ‘Tranquillo’ is all about quick moving segments and energetic phrases, ‘…Seeblick’ sees the pair’s love for building, uplifting club tracks come into fruition. Infused with the warm echoes of Detroit, and the deep history of Germany’s underground scene, this drifting and climactic jam will work wonders for Djs who love to build the tension! hotel seeblick (marko fürstenberg remix) Long-time underground electronic super hero Marko Fürstenberg works his midas touch on ‘Hotel Seeblick’, with a shimmering, evolving and beautifully sequenced interpretation. We are drawn through free-flowing chasms of richly dubbed patterns and uplifting moments of release… working the the floors, hearts and minds, it completes an EP full of variety and inventiveness.

Baum005 are no other than Marko Fürstenberg of A.r.t.less/Rotary- Cocktail/Ornaments and Thinner fame. On the b side the artist Sgi_s joins with a remix. What can you say, but Espenhain on the a side is a dancefloor filler. A tight compressed, kick and Marko..s atmospheric touch of dubby techno. The Espenhain remix on the b side, is shaped by swiss artist Sgi_s. This track is more of a pure techno track with a old school feeling to it. appegiator groove with a break that builds up to a peak point, but still manages to be deep. Ratsholz is the last track on the EP, a soundscape of hiss and noises that forms the hypnotic groove of the track. It starts slowly but it evolves into a sure late night track with a nice melody.

The Sgi_s Remix of Espenhain start off more tight and jacking with nice compression on the tape hiss until it deftly turns into a very Detroit compatible number reminiscent of Night the Jaguar or some the trancier Aril Brikha material. Nothing groundbreaking here but a competent EP nevertheless.”
