Whether you prefer techno, electro or minimal, ranging frompowerful floor tunage to melodic meltdowns, "Bryzant Games" has it all. Exploring the multi-colored hemispheres of electronic dance music,Christian, sounding stronger and more confident than ever, achieves theremarkable accomplishment of leaving behind stylistic conventions andpigeon-holing in favor of total musicality.

Diving into a party cosmos of varicolored possibilities in a pleasantly unbiased fashion, gallant Fischer shows great musical maturity -- his multifaceted output reflecting his broad spectrum. To top things off, the East German producer, label owner and DJ cooperated with artists as eclectic as German hiphop singer Sabrina Setlur and UK techno and breaks heroes Slam and Hybrid, the results of which sound amazing.

Electroey vocal techno tracks a la "Bitch" compete with groovy electro house workouts that shine because of their excellent minimal sound esthetic, and reduced structures get loaded with funky samples - it’s down to Fischer’s great ability to fuse that everything melts into a smooth whole.

Opening a scenic window to keypad landscapes of exuberant lushness, he is recreating the melodic undertone of Detroit by indulging in an abundance of strings and sparkly key chords as demonstrated in "Chiffre" and "Advanced Panorama", and celebrating the absolute rationality techno that sets the scene at the beginning of the album only to drift into vocal-driven, housey dimensions that revive disco in a mainstage fashion, the experienced resident DJ Fischer knows how to please any crowd: by surprising them with the expected, avoiding the all to obvious and sounding completely catchy, all at the same time.

The concept of "Bryzant Games" is as simple as it is logical. The sixteen fresh, exciting tracks are split up into four thematic EPs in distinct sound colours aimed to appeal to its respective audience. Delivered in a Vinyl Box the flavours range from crazy club tunage and mind-blowing main stage burners to more eclectic electro sounds, "Bryzant Games" has something for everybody.

It’s been a great year for Leipzig-born and bred Christian Fischer who has been at it constantly: His Clubtech Panorama mix compilation was only just going down to much critical acclaim when it was already outmatched by the release of the first ever Deckmonsters album. Produced in conjunction with Brazilian super star DJ Murphy who is the perfect counterpart, the two DJs toured the biggest European electronic music festivals in order to wow the puzzled audience with their turntable antics.

It’s incredible that Fischer, at it in his purest essence, still found time in the studio to complete his most accomplished work to date. "Bryzant Games" is a fascinating dance epic that lets the pumping heart skip a beat or two. Game over.

Inseiner typisch lockeren, grenzenlos offenen Art schlägt der Definition Records-Labelboss Christian Fischer erneut zu, in dem er lässig eine brandneue Folge seiner Definition von Maximum Sound aus dem Ärmel schüttelt. Offenherzig erkundet er die äußeren Limits des elektronischen Musik Universums, aber es bleibt euch überlassen, wohin die Reise gehen soll: auf den Floor oder in die Extreme! You choose!

Ob ihr nun Techno, Electro oder Minimal vorzieht, dessen Spektrum von kraftvollem Floorflutter bis zu melodischen Meltdowns reicht, spielt keine Rolle: "Bryzant Games" hat von allem etwas. Die vielfarbigen Hemisphären der elektronischen Dancemusik ausleuchtend, vollbringt Christian, der stärker und zuversichtlicher als je zuvor klingt, das magische Kunststück, stilistischen Konventionen und Stereotypisierungen ein Schnippchen zu schlagen, um bedingungslose Musikalität zuzulassen.

Auf angenehm unvoreingenommene Art und Weise in den Party-Kosmos der mannigfaltigen Möglichkeit eintauchend, beweist der galante Fischer mit seinem neuen Longplayer große musikalische Reife und reflektiert bereitwillig sein weitgefächertes Spektrum. Sich mal wieder selbst übertreffend, geht der ostdeutsche Labelbetreiber/Produzent/DJ die eklektischten Kooperationen ein, zum Beispiel mit der deutschen Hip-Hop-Sängerin Sabrina Setlur oder den UK-Techno- und Breaks-Heroen Slam und Hybrid, und die Resultate verblüffen.

Electroartige Vocaltechnotracks à la "Bitch" wetteifern mit groovy Electrohouse-Workouts, die dank ihrer exzellenten Minimalsound-Ästhetik heraustehen, und reduzierte Strukturen werden mit funky Samples aufgedonnert -- es ist auf Fischers großartige Fähigkeit zurückzuführen, das alles zu einem smoothen Ganzen zusammenschmilzt.

Ein szenisches Fenster öffnend, das einem weite Sicht über gigantische Keypad-Landschaften von exuberanter Lieblichkeit gewährt, rekreiert er den melodischen Unterton von Detroit, in dem er sich in einem Überfluss von Strings und sparklenden Keys verliert (wie bei "Chiffre" und "Advanced Panorama" demonstriert). Doch zuerst wird die absolute Rationalität des Techno zelebriert, der Original-Fischer-Sound, der am Anfang des Albums die Szene setzt, um dann in Vocal-gesteuerte, housige Dimensionen abzudriften, in denen Disco in Mainstage-Manier wiederbelebt wird. Tricks, die ein erfahrener Resident-DJ wie Fischer geschickt anwendet, auch, um einer komplexen Crowd das zu bieten, was sie wollen, in dem er sie mit den eigenen Erwartungen konfrontiert, dabei doch das Allzuoffensichtliche vermeidet und dabei doch unglaublich eingängig klingt -- all dies gleichzeitig.

Das Konzept der "Bryzant Games" ist so einfach, wie es logisch ist. Die sechzehn frischen, aufregenden Tracks sind auf vier in verschiedenen Soundfarben thematisch gestaltete EPs aufgesplittet, um die jeweilige Audienz anzusprechen. In einer Vinyl Box kommend, reichen die Flavours von Crazy-Club-Tunes über überwältigende Stageburner bis zu mehr eklektischen Elektrosounds -- "Bryzant Games" hat jedem etwas zu bieten.

Es war ein tolles Jahr für den in Leipzig geborenen und aufgewachsenen Christian Fischer, der schon seit geraumer Zeit nichts anbrennen lässt: Seine "Clubtech Panorama"-Mixcompilation, soeben erschienen und gefeiert, wurde direkt vom nächsten Release übertroffen, dem ersten Deckmonsters-Album ever. Produziert mit dem brasilianischen Superstar DJ Murphy, sein perfektes Counterpart, touren die beiden unzertrennlich die größten europäischen Musikfestivals, um die komplett erstaunten Zuschauer mit ihren Turntabletricks zu faszinieren.

Unglaublich, dass Fischer, immer vorne mit dabei, ohne jemals den Spirit zu verlieren, noch Zeit im Studio hatte, um sein erstes eigenes Album fertigzustellen. "Bryzant Games" ist ein faszinierendes Danceepic, das das pumpende Herz einen Sprung machen lässt oder zwei.

Leipzig original Christian Fischer, DJ andproducer for over ten years by now, is renowned for his hybrid and flexible,heavy-hitting yet fragile techno style that oscillates between anthemic houseand seminal electro while also embracing the most frantic frequencies. His breathtaking flexibility and scope is down to Christian’s residencies where Fischer honed his skills, amongst them at Leipzig city’s famed Distillery club. Running the successful imprint Definition Records, which has become an integral part of the international techno scene over the years while growing into a varied outlet that has helped to shape the movement, Christian is not one to shy away from stylistic advancement and technical innovation. Being one of the first who embraced new DJing technologies such as Final Scratch, Christian’s melody-driven, uplifting and progressive sets are legendary. Fischer, who jump-started his career on the befriended Statik Entertainment label and has since released celebrated EP on imprints as varied as Craft Music, Patterns, Abyss and Whirlpoolsex Music, teamed up with colleague DJ Murphy, the sensational turntable talent Fischer unearthed on one of his countless Brazil tours and signed for his label straight away, to produce and play under the moniker Deckmonsters. With their crazy turntable tricks, they are breaking every preconception what a DJ set could be like. They released their first longplayer in 2008, which is now followed by Christian Fischer’s solo debut album “Bryzant Games” out now on Bryzant.

Leipziger Original Christian Fischer, seit über zehn Jahren als DJ und Produzent tätig, ist berühmt für seinen hybrid-flexiblen, heftig-fragilen Technostyle, der zwischen hymnischen Housesounds und zukunftsweisendem Elektro hin- und herschwingt und gleichzeitig die wildesten Frequenzen mit einbezieht. Seine atemberaubende Flexibilität und sein Spektrum hat er sich in jahrelanger Residency-Tätigkeit als DJ erspielt, darunter unter anderem ein Slot in der berüchtigten Distillery in Leipzig. Er betreibt erfolgreich das Label Definition Records, das, stetig wachsend und sich neu erfindend, über die Jahre zu einem wesentlichen Bestandteil der Szene geworden ist, und fürchtet sich auch selbst nicht davor, sich stilistisch weiterzuentwickeln und technische Neuerungen zu befürworten.
