We started out as a bunch of kids who just wanted to rock. We weren't trying to change the world or anything like that, we just wanted people to feel what we felt when we heard heavy music. As the times started changing, so did we. Trying to figure out who you are and what you're interested in can be tough growing up. We went through a lot of hard times in school, with people thinking we were crazy and rejecting us, making fun of us, parents losing trust in us because of the way we looked, but rock and roll was in our veins, and in our eyes, we were up against the world.
As the years went on, TGF eventually just became our lives, it was what drove us, what motivated us, what got us through each day. We didn't know what we would ever do without it. As our love for heavy music grew stronger, so did our fans, uniting for our shows. Hardcore vs. Metal suddenly became a distant memory, and the love for passion and drive took over. The way you make people feel is what changes the world--our fans taught us that.
We had been through some hard times and felt it necessary to call it quits; just leave it be. All that we had worked toward, all the memories we made--just try to forget about it. But as we tried to move on, TGF still rang in our ears. Everytime we closed our eyes to sleep, everytime we went to work, thats all we heard.
After going away we realized we just couldn't keep going along with this. This is our lives. So many haven't heard, and maybe never will. So many people don't care, or just simply hate it. But this is for us, whether we just play in a garage for the rest of our lives, or sell out arenas, TGF will still live on in our hearts, and we will continue to do it.
So therefore, The Kid Is Back and here to stay. With a new lineup, new music, we're back. Realize that now, this is our passion and drive more than ever, and it's all thanks to you. God bless each and every one of you guys.
TGF Forever!
