Good to see so many of you following the tweets and the twits and the what nots. I had put up a call to action asking if anyone knew anyone with web design skills that were heavy on the design and functionality side. Just trying to remake the jealoussound.com site a little more user and back end friendly.... i said back end friendly. classy. So I decided not to go with the sketch ball that is "the face space" and plunge right into the heart of darkness that is Twitter. It was a great pleasure to play the filmore last night. We had family and close friends there so that made it feel like it was a little more like home. The crowd was amazingly supportive and made us feel very welcomed. It is always a bit scary opening for such an amazingly talented and well respected band like sunny day. Wait, there aren't really many bands that occupy the space that sunny day does so, I guess what I am poorly trying to say is that this tour has been an incredible journey and learning experience for us and we have grown as people and as a band. It's also been cool to get to hang out with the boys again, we haven't been on the road together since the fire theft tour. Anyway, we have 2 more shows then it's back to l.a. To start work on our second full length. That is a strange thing for me to even type let alone wrap my head around right now. It's late and we are flying through Oregon trying to get to dan's hometown of Spokane which we have never played oddly enough. After that we play our last show at the paramount in Seattle which should be a very crazy end to a very crazy eye opening tour. I'll talk to you guys after that show I am sure. Hope you are well. That show was INSANE. The venue and staff were great but the folks that showed up were filled with that southern love. They (you) made us feel right at home so thanks for that and thanks for singing along... I always know a show is going well when folks are louder than Blair... Louder Than Blair... Hmm Louder Than Bombs... Sorry, got side tracked. Ok, so tonight we are in Dallas playing the Granada Theater again. The last time we played here was with The Fire Theft which is Sunny Day sans Dan so this is kind of a strange 'full circle' moment on the tour. Jeremy and I were just discussing it and how great and right this feels to be doing this yet again. Our pleasure, please :). I need to get ready for sound check so I will post more and some pictures when i get a moment... Hopefully we will bump into some of you over the next couple of weeks, these shows and days are flying by way too fast and I want this to keep going but I know there are lives and families to get back to. Talk soon and thanks to EVERYONE that has made it out and had a chance to talk to one or all of us, we appreciate you coming by for sure.

Hello friends,

This tour has been going insanely well we couldn't have asked for better tour mates than Sunny Day. They have been an unbelievably supportive head liner and have given there all every night. It seems both bands keep pushing each other each night so the next is even bigger, brighter and filled with more passion. The tour got off to a rocky start with us scrambling to get everything together but here i sit in in the landmark 9:30 Club in our nation's capitol listening to a crowd of about 1400 sing every word to 'In Circles'. It's giving me goose bumps and makes me realize just how important these guys and this tour is on so many levels. I am so proud to be a part of it and we are humbled by it as well. Every person that has come up to us after and told us they have been waiting 5 or however many years they have been waiting to us play live has made us realize that people really do still care a lot more than we have ever thought possible. Just some ramblings from D.C. Talk to you all soon and sorry it's been so long since i have posted something but every night after we play we dry off and enjoy yet another sdre set. Amazing!

Ok, even though that is true, i am writing to tell you that Nate Mendel and Bob Penn are writing and recording our new record with us. Blair and I couldn't be happier. Nate is possibly one of the greatest bass players i have ever heard live or recorded and Asher is absolutely destroying and bringing something very new and special to the band. We have been hearing all sorts of crazy rumors about who is and isn't playing with us as well as some other insane rumors about us going on tour with Sunny Day Real Estate. Wait, that one is also true.... I should cut this short, Kanye is going OFF next door and we have been playing this new song over and over trying to get it just right... I think we are super close. This would bring our current song count up to about 5 fully finished and another 5 or 6 only wearing their skeletons. Everything is in it's place friends so, again, thanks for being here and being a part of our lives. It is an amazing feeling indeed. I am assuming we will see you in a couple months, no?

Hello friends,
We finally got our regular MySpace page switched over to a music page so we are very excited to be one of the kagillion bands that are here fighting for your ears. We are different though in the fact that we have never sent out a single friend request or god forbid a tacky blanket friend request to everyone and their moms dogs best friends sister. We have done it one buddy at a time buddy. All classy like. There was a Jealous Sound music page up already but it wasnt started by us so if you were a friend of ours on there it looks like you might have been erased when we started the new one up so please try and send another friend request we miss you crazy like and cant stand another day away from your loving touch. Speaking of lovings, thanks so much for all the great comments, emails, and all around well-wishing while we are working on our l.p. for the Militia Group. Things are going great and we can't wait to share the music with you and get back out on the road to see your lovely faces again. It has been far too long since we have spent our evenings together in smoky cramped venues across this great land and shared a drink or two. That will all change soon though, we promise. I will post some pictures of us in the studio when I do another one of these updates. We have been trying to get a new website up because our old one is way over due so in the meantime I will post updates and pictures here. Sound good? Great. Okay, I will talk to you guys again soon and thanks again for your support. You mean the world to us.
