Quarterfuse Release Show

If you weren't able to make it to the show and would like a CD, they are now available to order on our myspace page. They are 12 bucks (shipping kills you these days). You'll also get it really soon as I do not have much to do. I'll mail it to you right away I swear. Be on the lookout for the record on some digital distribution sites. "Quarterfuse" became available today on emusic.com I know for sure. The others are sure to follow. We should be on Itunes in the 4 or 5 weeks.

We are extremely excited to say that "Quarterfuse" is very close to being done. It started as a demo session (one in which I played drums…weird) and ended up a full length record (in which I thankfully didn't play drums). It also evolved into 13 songs and now has dwindled down to 10…but you didn't have to know that.  We have been working on this record off and on for almost a year now. It will contain old/new good/gooder songs…and one that is "just alright". It has been engineered by our dear friend, Ben Schmitt, at Gravity Studio's here in Nashville. He has been very gracious to pull some long hours on our behalf to make this record happen. It would never have happened without him and "Gravity" working so close with us and believing in our artistry. We are currently working on finding a qualified profesional to mix this record. So... get ready for news in that department very soon.

We had a great time at "Next Big Nashville". Thanks to all of those that made it out to see us at 12^th and Porter on Friday Night. Special thanks to John Henry Trinko of "Pico vs. Island Trees" for sitting in on organ as we were in a very tight spot."Pico" is one of fav. bands in town and can be found in our top eight. We made some new friends, saw some great new bands, and partook of many vip perks in the form of music mags and ipod paraphernalia… all of which are still sitting on my coffee table unused. I also just realized that a hoarded all of these perks for myself and didn't tell my bandmates. I don't think they are cool enough to have ipods anyway, (except Paul, he might have one). Probably not even cool enough to read this blog.

Come see us next Wed. at Mercy lounge w/ Trent Dabbs and Eric McCarley. Justin will be playing with us and John Henry will be back as well. We should have a big band and a big show. Don't miss it!

In other news my Braves are all but eliminated from the playoff's and  "your University of Kentucky Wildcats" have defeated Louisville at a game called football.
