OK so I just have to share this with you all. Have you seen these DVD's? The Secret first and foremost, What the Bleep Do We Know and Wayne Dyers The Power of Intention
It freaks me out that there are people out there who have not yet seen these movies. If you are interested in higher consciousness and taking control of your destiny then you have to see What the Bleep Do We Know I have seen this movie like 4 or 5 times now and it blows me away every time. Ive also watch Wayne Dyers The Power of Intention many times as well. Its really powerful and very enlightening. If you havent seen it yet, it's a must. He explains how our thoughts create what our life actually is. He is awesome but What the Bleep Do We Know is freakin amazing.   It really explains scientifically how we are in control of our own reality. The power of our inner thoughts and our lifes are one in the same. Get these DVD's, blow your mind. I did and my life has not been the same since. Enjoy Raw Chef Dan

Kittens. Birds. Lambs. Monkeys. Ferrets. Mice. The March of Dimes has spent millions of dollars funding experiments that injure, mutilate, poison, and kill adults and babies of all of these animals.

In one study, newborn kittens had their eyelids sewn shut for many months before being killed, in a failed attempt to study visual deprivation. The March of Dimes has funded a series of other disturbing experiments, such as brain damaging and freezing newborn ferrets, seriously dehydrating pregnant ewes, inducing the premature birth of lambs and deliberately inflicting lung injury, giving alcohol and cocaine to pregnant animals, and tethering pregnant monkeys to cages with monitoring cables inserted into their fetuses.

Despite millions of dollars spent and millions of animals tortured and killed, birth defects and preterm births are on the rise. In a CDC two-decade long study, only three of 26 monitored birth defects decreased in the U.S., while 11 were unchanged and 12 increased. Our rate of premature births is just as dismal - the numbers have increased 30% since 1983, and continue to rise. Unbelievably, the U.S. has the second highest newborn mortality rate out of all industrialized countries.

Clearly, animal testing has not led to medical improvements for human babies. Real progress in the fight against birth defects will be made by relying on human-based research and programs.

help all babies

Who I'd like to meet:
Many health charities carry out human-based, ethical studies and programs that are more successful in preventing and finding cures for birth defects. Charities like these, that pledge to fund only humane and effective research and never animal experiments, have been awarded the Humane Charity Seal of Approval. If you want to help ALL babies - human and non-human - support only charities that have been awarded the Humane Charity Seal of Approval. Visit www.HumaneSeal.org for a list of approved health charities.

Current mood:  irritated

So my friend Judy Author and host of Raw Foods News sent me a link and asked me what I think of it. It was about a study showing that a cretin property of Korean Pin Nuts had been very effective in loosing weight. So I read about 10 lines of it before steam started coming out of my ears and promptly sent her this. And she wrote back "Applause! This should be a TV commercial

My reply:

This is all such crap. Man people, just stop eating processed foods, and meat products and your will not only see you weight drop but also your over all health increase dramatically. Every one wants a pill to counteract their bad habits. It's getting really irritating to hear about or read all these "new discoveries" of things that will help reduce body mass instead of telling people why they are so fat to begin with. It's just stupid to eat like crap then want to take a pill to feel better. The other thing that burns me up is the disconnection of various health conditions and eating. I got news for you people; whatever your doing to get fat is the same thing that gives you your colds, your flues, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, aids, ADD, AADD, Acid Reflux, and on and on and on. It's all the same thing, even if you don't show symptoms yet, it's on the way. The body has no choice but to slowly degenerate when suffering a bad diet and unhealthy life style. WAKE UP PEOPLE and stop giving your money to the industry that is killing you in an attempt to feel better.

I know that, we only know what we know and being a vegetarian you are on a path of higher consciousness and that is great as long as one is open to continuing one's pursuit and willing to listen, change and grow. That said, I must say that I continually find if curious when vegetarians, a label with the word vegetable in it, insist on filling their plates with starch i.e.: pastas, rice, saitan, breads, potato, carrots... Starch, STArch, STARCH! Starch is one of the worst things we can put into our bodies. And Vegetarians on their mission to be health conscious, fill their bodies with this poison in huge amounts. This is why many Vegetarians fail to stay Vegetarian, why many are over weight, why many are sickly, and many simply do not feel good. Vegetarians should live on vegetation i.e. vegetables, fruits, nuts and sprouted seeds. It so disappointing to me when I go to a Vegetarian restaurant with friends and can't find one thing on the menu that is healthy. Starch, Starch, Starch with a sauce or gravy thickened with starch and sweetened with processed sugars, with almost no vegetables on the plate and salad with factory made dressings or cheap oil and cheap vinegar. COME ON MAN GET WITH IT! This is non-nutrient, high sugar, low vibration, cheep filler crap! Where are the vegetables? If you do happen to find some Greens, Bell Pepper, Butternut Squash, Rutabaga, Broccoli or anything to get excited about, its usually so over cooked it comes to you as a plate full of flavorless mush. Starches only contributes to bad health with a list of side effects a long a Prozac. I could go on for pages about this but I dont want to dwell on the negative. So on the FYI side I will say this:
quality of food (food being things our body ecology recognizes as a nutrient) is the most important element of health second only to the thoughts in your head. There are thousands of delicious varieties of Fruits, Vegetable, Nuts, Seed, Herbs and Spices on this earth to keep our taste buds dancing and pallets popping year around. Why we get stuck on pasta and bread is an addiction and the lack of public awareness is a crime. A crime to our health and an insult to nature. Pasta dose not grow on trees and loafs of bread do not bloom from flowering bushes. An apple does not come in a non- biodegradable package, Arugula does not cause spikes in blood sugar levels, rot our teeth or feed unwanted systemic yeast and Basil does not require coloring, flavoring, stabilizers, emulsifiers or a box with a list of ingredients on the side. You know whats in it, Basil. Eat what God / Nature gave us and you will flourish with all the riches promised from the heavens above!

P.S. No animals were tortured, beaten, injected with hormones, steroids and antibiotic or inhumanely slaughtered to type this blog.
