So,

Not a huge issue (kinda), and really only Mike cares but.. I already today (only 10:18 in the am!) saw our name spelled Backstriker, 4 times. Just random crossings between friend and foe and you know..just to patch up the fluster, there is indeed a space between the words, concluding; Back Striker.

Hey midwest area bands. Summer's coming up which means we are looking for summer shows. I will be in Europe until June 30 but July 1 and onward are fair game. If you have a place to plug in amps, a floor to sleep on (and a little bit of bread for gas is always a plus) we'd love to play a show with your band. If you're looking to play a Madison area show I'm sure we can find something and if you want to book something in your town we can certainly hook something up in here in return.

We promise even if all the judgemental hipsters hate your band you'll still have fun.

Hey kids,

We just released the 3rd track from our Collars Up CD Single, and its called "Breaker Breaker, Ten-Niner". We are planning on releasing the rest of the CD once we are finished pressing/printing/etc..
I'm going back to bed now.. ENJOY.

Also, in the last blog, Drew straight up lied to everyone about shirts. We don't have any to folly around in YET, but that doesn't mean there aren't any huge plans for the future. STAY, TUNED.

The show with Gatsby's American Dream was amazing!  Best show I've been at in Madison in a long time.   Little Meow Meow was very different, and The Fateful Promise set the mood for the rest of the night well.  Our buddies in Zero To Sixty Never played an awesome set, and Gatsby's was just possessed and raw on their tour opening show.    Thanks so much to everyone who came out!  It means a lot that you stuck around in the heat to listen to us and all the other bands.

In other Back Striker news:  We laid down the scratch tracks to 3 songs at Paradyme Produtions today.  Austin comes back from Milwaukee this weekend (again) to record his drum parts.  All the other instruments will be finished up next week.  As long as Ike's throat isn't fucked up and needs surgery, we should have something for you all to listen to soon.

finally SHIRTS!  We are pressing our first shirt.  All I can say is that it's hot, and that everyone should buy one.   Message us with your size if you know you want one so we can make sure we order enough for everyone.

Love, Drew

So, despite the whole band being half asleep and more than half the band on drugs, I had an awesome time this wednesday. Thanks so much to everyone who showed up and even stayed up past their bed times to watch us! We do have a couple show shows coming up in August, keep chekcin back for details on those. Also, I dont think I'm suppost to post blogs so... I'm out!
