God is a God of pursuit. Time after time in the Bible He pursues those who are in the deepest of sin so He can bring them to freedom. He doesn't pursue them once they quit doing wrong, He pursues them while they are in the midst of it. He doesn't persue them to condemn them and point out their mistakes. God understands the human struggle. He understands lonliness, hardship, the want for a better life. He understands that people want to be loved, that they need a Father. God is a rescuer. Jesus means "One who saves".
God bless you today and always~ Greg

Jesus is not waiting for us to clean up the junk in our lives to love us. He is waiting for us to open our hearts to Him. In the Gospels Jesus never expresses tension to a pagan outcast or sinner, yet He expresses tension toward religious leaders. At times He yells at them. God is not mad at you. If you feel like it, it is because the church most of the time does not express the heart of Christ. God is saying to us take my hand get rid of the crap in your life and follow me.
God is longing for us to let go of misconceptions given to us by the church, the lies we have been told about Him, and the hurts we have experienced through the church, other christians, or just by life. He is hoping we will seek to know Him and go against the grain and seek the truth. He is simply waiting, pursuing us and loving us as we go through life.

IF YOU ASK MOST PEOPLE, SOMETIME IN THEIR LIFE THEY HAVE ACCEPTED CRIST AS THEIR SAVIOR, GOD SAYS "THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE" IT WOULD BE TOTALLY AGAINST GOD'S CHARACTER TO GIVE US A GIFT AND TAKE IT AWAY. WE JUST LOSE THE GIFT IN OUR EVERYDAY LIFE. WE TRY HARD NOT TO FIND IT AND WITH ITS LOSS COMES A VOID WHICH WE TRY TO FILL WITH ALCOHOL, DRUGS ,SEX AND ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN FIND TO GIVE US TEMPRPRARY HAPPINESS. MY PRAYER THIS HOLIDAY SEASON IS THAT EVERYONE WHO IS SEARCHING FOR PEACE WILL REALIZE GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN IT TO THEM . HE WILL NEVER TAKE IT AWAY FIND IT PLEASE.
IF YOU NEED HELP LET ME KNOW I AM WAITING IN THE SHADOWS WITH JESUS WAITING TO PULL YOU OUT OF THE DARKNESS.

THE MORE I WORK WITH AND AROUND PEOPLE WHO DO NOT PROFESS TO BE CHRISTIANS THE MORE I REALIZE THAT IT IS TRUE THAT WE ARE ALL CREATED IN GODS IMAGE AND LIKENESS. EVEN IN THE MOST CRUDE LOUD PERSON OR ALCOHOLIC OR DRUG USER YOU CAN SEE CHRIST SURFACE IN SMALL DOSES IN THEIR LIFE. WE JUST PILE SO MUCH JUNK ON TOP OF HIM THAT HE DOES NOT SURFAC ALL THE TIME BUT HE NEVER LEAVES US OR FORSAKES US

outcasts?
We have a large goth culture in Cottonwood but not only those wearing black, dark make-up, fishnet and chains belong to the outcast scene. Is the straight A student striving for a college scholarship really an outcast in disguise? What about the bulging muscular football star? The prom queen? The person sitting alone in the cafeteria at lunch? Don't let outward appearance fool you. Many of the people you see everyday, people you think have it all together carry the mark of rejection. You see, everyone cries, everyone bleeds, everyone feels pain. You see, the least expected people have been battered, abused, alienated, and mis-used by a world who doesn't care about them.
2000 years ago a man walked this earth. He was abused, battered, alienated and rejected. His friends were misfits, social outcasts and prostitutes. He himself was labeled an outcast. He understands what you are going through, He went through it too. He feels your pain and hurt and cries with you at night. He wants to pull you out of the darkness. He doesn't care how you look or what you have done. He isn't waiting for you to change to love you, He already does. He is a gentleman so He won't force Himself on you. He wants nothing from you in return. He only wants to love you. Give Him a chance. Jesus is waiting.

I AM AMAZED AT WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE RESPECT FOR WOMEN IN TODAYS SOCIETY. MEN HAVE DESYNTHESIZED WOMEN TO THE POINT THAT THEY NO LONGER SEEK THE LOVE ANDD RESPECT THEY DESERVE. WORKING AT A HIGH SCHOOL DAILY I CORRECT YOUNG MEN FOR THEIR USE OF PROFANITY IN FRONT OF WOMEN AND MOST TIMES THE YOUNG WOMEN SAY "IT DOESN'T BOTHER ME". WELL IT SHOULD. YOUNG WOMEN DON'T BE FOOLED YOU ARE SPECIAL NOT AN OBJECT AND NEED TO BE TREATED THAT WAY. DO NOT LOWER YOUR STANDARDS YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE AND NEED TO BE TREATED LIKE A PRINCESS FOR YOUR FATHER IS A KING. EXPECT RESPECT FROM MEN AND DEMAND IT. LOOK FOR A MAN WHO WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT AND HONOR YOU, YOU ARE SPECIAL.
