Tuts looked after us all again as always, the sound was great and so was the crowd.
So if you were there... thanks for coming and going crazy.
As promised... new song EXIT was played there for the first time, all worked pretty well.

That one is a big rock night, so hope you can make it!

Thanks again for hanging and drinking, Tuts really is the best small venue in the world.

Current mood:show time!
Hi all,

Who says we don't do enough gigs?!?!

(everyone!)

It's only because that myspace 'shows, gig' section never works properly for us! So we thought it best not to book any!

Not really :-(

But it doesn't work for us!... that's why the info is in this blog.

gigs

Well... now you have a few to come to.

KING TUTS 7th Sept £10

(less expensive tickets available from the LJR!)

It fantastic to go back to King Tuts, what band does not want to play there?!?

When we did, it was everything is should be, great people.. so going back is great!

supporting Australian stars...Regurgitator.

Some really really good tracks, check them out!

(not nearly as scary as they sound) http://www.myspace.com/regurgitators

Regurgitator After constant touring, in particular with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Regurgitator recorded UNIT in three weeks during 1997. The short 35 minute album was a change from the style of Tu-Plang, moving over to an 80's pop type thing. UNIT was extremely successful, making it double platinum (over 140 000 copies sold) by 1999 and 5 prizes at the ARIA Awards. The year is 2001. Regurgitator are set to release a new album titled Eduardo & Rodriguez Wage War On T-Wrecks in July, from which the first single Fat Cop sees a release in early June. The Do Nuttin' Tour will accompany this, with a short list of dates over Australia, followed by the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Particular mentions for the latter part of the year included a short tour of Japan, the Big Day Out festival, as well as the release of the Super Straight single.

LIFE AMONG PEOPLE

KERRANG! placed somewhere between Deftones and Biffy Clyro, these impressively ambitious articulate underdogs certainly deserve to enjoy wider recognition

BIG CHEESE - LIVE! - 4/5 .....punchy and atmospheric punk rock crossed post-hardcore style reminiscent of early Thrice or Biffy Clyro. The effect is mind blowing with emotionally stirring 'in dog years you're dead' demonstrating their collective abilities. 4/5

Even more gigs in final stages of being announced..... really, don't miss that news!

Hope to see you at as many as you can make....
they are all for you! :-)

Current mood:punky ! :-)
The Dead Kennedys & Little John Rocket news

Current mood: punky ! :-)

It is a rare moment in a groups history when a band does not just continue to ride the wave of their own music, gigs and publicity.

But actually feel the need to pause, stop and say something about what is going on.

Things like getting signed to a truly independent punk/rock record label 'Framingo Records', playing King Tuts and releasing singles are what is called, getting lucky!

We feel lucky to have done these things.

But what is really lucky is scoring a gig play with The Dead Kennedys!

LJR supporting The Dead Kennedys at their ONLY Scottish gig in The Liquid Room Edinburgh (23rd May) is quite simply a rock and roll honour!

We all have our favourite bands... but there are some bands, that even if you are are not in love with, you simply can not deny their rock, punk, crazy, seminal influence on modern music.

Little John Rocket are proud to be on the same stage as THE DEAD KENNEDYS.

All hail The (chief) Dead Kennedys.

(Thanks to the Dead Kennedys and The Liquid Room (Kath) for championing us, we appreciate it.)
