http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDrobtr506kAt First Light - Traditional Irish music group. At First Light comprises the talents of world renowned Uilleann Piper John McSherry and outstanding fiddle player Dónal O'Connor, creators of Tripswitch, which has been described as 'Acoustic perfection'. Combined with the sublime talent of Francis McIlduff from the famous McPeake clann, the power, clarity and sheer joy of vocalist Alan Burke formerly of the band Afterhours and 'Asturien Traditional Musician of the Year 2006' Rubén Bada and you can see why the band is being portrayed as 'a dream team line up'. This recording was made in The Black Box, Belfast as part of the Open House Festival. INFO@ATFIRSTLIGHT.NET

Hello there,
We have posted some new photos from Sligo Live 07 on our Myspace page. Thanks to Colin Gillen from Barrys Public House in Grange ( Check out his venue for gigs - one of the best in Ireland).
We've also posted some new music tracks on our myspace. Both tracks are from a live gig in the Spirit Store, Dundalk, September 2003 featuring John McSherry, Donal O'Connor ,Mike McGoldrick and Tony Byrne. The recording is straight from the Mixing desk and is a little raw but we think you'll experience a little bit of the atmosphere on the night.

Our website now has links to the recordings we did for BBC's Blas Ceoil and we have posted some new pictures and videos.

Our next gig is at the Temple Bar Trad Festival in Dublin on the 23rd January. We hope to see you all there.
