Hello!

Well, I know that very few people, if anyone at all, will actually read this. But, I'm going to write it anyway.

If you've read my profile page, you'll note that I'm very quick to point out that I Spy is not a "proper" band. And, quite right, too. I just do the music as a hobby in between all the normal, mundane things in life - mortgage, family, cat, rabbit, and so on...

Oh, yes, and I have a full time job, too!

I'm the Export Manager for a company in the UK, which basically means that I travel the world trying to flog our products to Johnny Foreigner. I guess I've seen quite a bit of the world in my time - 48 different countries, at the last count!

Some of my MySpace friends have asked me to post pictures of some of the places I've been to. This is not always as easy as it sounds. Anyone working in Exports will tell you that you rarely have time to see the sites - you fly in, do the business and fly out again. So, all you really see are hotels, offices and airports. Occasionally, though, I do manage to take a quick snap :o)

I've already posted a number of travel photos in my photo section. The latest ones are of Lagos, Nigeria, where I visited last week. The photos of Lagos aren't exactly pretty. But then, and I mean no disrespect to my Nigerian friends, Lagos isn't exactly the prettiest of cities. In fairness, though, they have cleaned the place up quite a lot since my last visit, so it was looking surprisingly neat and tidy.

By the way, if anyone is interested, you might like to know that I am still working on my music. I have a couple of songs "in the oven" and they should be done in a couple of weeks or so. That is, assuming I haven't got something much more important to do like mow the lawn..............

I'm very pleased to announce a re-working of one of my latest songs, "All Around".
