Hey Everybody!,

I wanted to invite you all to check out a few of my 'friends'......when we are on tour, alot of you ask about my family...if you check out my top friends... my daughter Gina is a member of the Darling Stilettos out of Los Angeles (my 2nd top friend)...my daughter Alana is my number one top friend (my youngest daughter Michelle has a myspace but she keeps it private...but she is in some of the pics at Alana's page...and my brother Marty is my number three top friend (by the way he is the drummer on my first '45', 'No More Baby/She's All Mine' and my first album 'Boogie All Over Your Head'... and he played drums with me during the good ol' wildass whiskey swillin' days...we had many wild nights of backwoods gigs up on 'Whiskey Hill' when the  bottles and knives were flyin'...he's still a badass drummer and is one of America's finer artists) ......by the way...Marty just started his myspace yesterday so be sure to check him and his paintings out .....MK

Hey Everybody,

Just getting ready to do our last 3 shows of this European tour we've been enjoyin' for the last several weeks...We had the pleasure of having Allen Haynes on the bill with us at a show in Sala Sweden a couple days ago...at a real cool joint called 'Rockland'...for those of you who may not know...Allen Haynes is one badass guitar player out of Texas...we got him up with us for our encore ( a jacked up version of Jump Back...Your Baby Wanna Boogie)...all I can say was there was a shitload of loudass guitar playin'for a good solid 20 minutes or so...it was damn fine fun...I saw some video cameras so maybe someone will have the full jam up on youtube sometime soon....

I would also like to thank everbody who  has purchased the 'Bootleg Boogie Live!' download....the response has been great and we are happy that so many of you dig it!...I'll dig for more recordings when I get back home in my studio....with some luck I may find some more stuff to release...

There are a bunch of new songs I've been writing and they will get recorded this summer and into the fall...so there will be new studio recordings coming before the end of 2008.....MK

Some live recordings were recently discovered and we thought that hard core MK fans would really dig 'em...so we are releasing them on Wild Ass Records as a digital only album titled, 'Bootleg Boogie Live!'...we have added a couple of the tunes to the playlist....There is a killer version of Lucky,Lucky,Lucky with MK playing some wicked blues guitar!...The album should be available at Apple iTunes,CD Baby,Amazon etc...sometime in May/June.......

Johnny Bee,Sid and I are lookin' forward to seeing you all on our European/U.K. tour comin' up in a little over a week...we are really fired up and ready to get hard on the boogie!...We are gonna reach back into our bag full of sounds and do  a couple we haven't done for a while...we'll try to hit on all of the  favorites for ya....write in to this blog and let us know what you'd like to hear and we'll see about gettin' 'em on the set list....We have a newly designed t-shirt that will be available at the shows in addition to all of our European and U.K. released cds!...So come on out to the shows starting May 1st and let us burn your soul with some BOOGIE FROM HELL!!!...MK
