Just to let everyone know, Darkling is done.

Efforts were made to find a new drummer since July and then recently there were talks about working with Jim again. All of this fell through. We even talked about just doing some CD release parties for the CD that we just finished this summer, but that too will not happen.

The CD might be pressed if we can find a way to do it. If it is pressed we will have them for sale for anyone who wants them. It is THE BEST Darkling recording ever.

So....that's it.

I bet you thought I was going to talk about Politics!? Hell No! But if I were going to vote for president I'd go with the person who doesn't lie. So I guess I won't be voting anytime soon.

O.k. to the real reason I am writing this blog. I am very pleased to tell you that we've been officially endorsed by Ed Stone Clothing, which is great because I desperately need more metal clothes!

I have recently learned about something that has been going on for decades in this country...puppy mills.

Look it up on the internet.

PLEASE do your part to stop puppy mills. It's easy really....DON'T buy puppies from pet stores and stop shopping there altogether. Don't spend any money there at all. DON'T buy puppies online either. Buy puppies from local breeders. GO to the breeders location and check them out. REPORT any situation that looks bad for animals...anywhere! This includes cats. There are cat mills too...on a smaller scale, but it exists.

I know this is an odd blog but I want to do my part to spread the word about this. This myspace page is an outlet that I have. List this info on your myspace page too. Maybe Myspace can make a big difference in animal rights.  

Animals are as important as human beings!

If you do a search for puppy mills,  you'll see why I am writing this. It's heart breaking.

Darkling will be heading into watchman studios on June 1^st to record a 3 song CD with Producer Doug White. One of the tracks will include Metal Reborn. We have a live version of metal reborn on our darkling myspace page http://myspace.com/darkling

We're also working on a limited edition DVD of our live shows and recordings we've done through the years. The DVD will feature new songs/old songs, photos, fans, friends of Darkling. The DVD will be released March 9^th tentatively. We'll keep you posted. Thanks everyone for your support!
