I was graciously asked by the wonderful Anne James Chaton to take part in the www.panoplie.org back up on line residency in which an artist has access for 4 months to an on line hard drive in which they can show thier work or working method..
after a bit of messing about i've started off in 2 vague directions..

1. 'totally cactus' after some years break i have started plucking the cactus again...trying to find new ways to use this spikey beast with eventually maybe some depressing stories of failure and fucked upness..

2. 'mapping home' i've been thinking about how one can sonically map home or the concept of home sonically and if home is were the heart is then we will be playing at the heart, you could say....i want to draw/document the idea of home, through maps texts conversations and naturally the magic of the internet to make graphic like scores and ask musician/friends to interprate the scores or sonic maps of home..
mmm....?

maybe the 2 will meet....

I asked 8 friends if they could video themselves dancing alone at home. They chose the music and a favourite place in their home, in which they would most likely perform this very private dance.
I then took away the music/sound and replaced it with my own pieces especilly made for each dancer. Taking into consideration their unique personalities, home surroundings and movement styles.
