S-O-S URGENT PLEASE READ S-O-S URGENT PLEASE READ
Due to unforseen circumstances we seem to have mislaid our rhythm section! Not a big problem maybe but we are playing PUNKFEST 4 on August 23rd in Gosport!!!

We urgently need a bassist and drummer for the gig soooooooo:
1.
if you can play
2.
you have your own gear(and transport!)
3.
you can spare the time for 2 3hr rehearsals AND do the gig
4.
you are not a jazz freak or a hippie
then get in touch asap please

a liking for garage punk would help as well!!!

Current mood:  pissed off

Just seen the new Beautiful South hits cd on sale in asda...its a version of the Andy Warhol Campbells soup can!!!!!|Yes thats right the just like we are using for the WholeLottaAndy album out in Jan/Feb.

I want to make it quite clear right here and now that we have not ripped off the BS! If i rip off stuff then I use quality sources.....I nicked the cover idea from the sleeve of The Times single Red With Purple Flashes (told you i nick from quality didn't i?)

Going by messages that I have had over the last few days word has got out that the Groovies are going to be reforming for a xmas gig. This is only half true.

Steve Clarke and myself ARE going to be playing an acoustic set at THE FAWCETT INN,Fawcett Road,Portsmouth on  Friday 21st Dec. We are going to be supporting THE AUTONS at their xmas party-feel free to come along!

It is not a Pop Art Experience gig, just Steve and me so don't expect much! However there is a chance (a small chance, but still a chance) that the band might get together for a couple of gigs in 2008!! These will be to promote the WHOLELOTTAANDY tribute album which will now be coming out Jan/Feb time.

Theres going to be a single from it in Jan-Karen Tween's lovely acoustic take on the shooting of Andy!

More news as I think of it
