I've decided to start regularly posting content on my blog.

It is at http://www.myneuralart.blogspot.com.

It is mostly my drawings and posters, but I'm planning to post mp3s of some of my pop, hip hop, dancehall, chip-tune, new-age, digital-hardcore, lo-fi, and electro-acoustic whatevers that I always make.

Check it out!

Now!

So thats what I've been doing.  How about you?  You been busy lately?  Nice to see you again.  Okay, bye.

So I've spent the last few weeks producing this hallowe'en EP with some friends.

You can download the songs here (right click, save as...):

Random Creature Generator "Its hallowe'en"
Mussaver "Momma Frankenstein"
Elliot Maude "R.R.Hood"

The credits are as follows:

Random Creature Generator (Me, Tyler) - It's Hallowe'en (Featuring Ruby, Mussaver and Dishwasher)

Mussaver (Telefauna's own Katherine Peacock) - Momma Frankenstein (featuring Ruby and Random Creature Generator)

and

Elliot Maude - R.R.Hood (featuring Random Creature Generator, Ruby, and a barely audible Dishwasher)

Go check out Mussaver's myspace too!

Please share these mp3s!

Happy Hallowe'en!

Current mood:  accomplished
hey peeps,

thanks to everyone who came to see the !!! and holy fuck show we played a little while back. it was rad.

so, as far as the summer goes, katherine and ian are off globe-trotting and making merry in different cities and continents, respectively, so no shows for a while. tyler and i just finished mastering some new tfauna shiz that we're really excited about. tyler's in toronto right now for NXNE hustling his poster art. i'm in montreal enjoying BBQs and such summer fun... trying to get the most out of this city before the long hard miracle fortress tour across canada that i'm faced with in less than two weeks. yikes! i'm sure it will be fun though. character-building.

anyway, look out for some new stuff. you might want to start here: http://saidthegramophone.com/archives/never_take_a_vacation.php

love,

hello!

I guess it's been a while since we've played, huh? well, we have a show for you montreal friends this coming tuesday, january 30th. it's at le divan orange, with the winks (great orchestral pop) and is that the sound of my voice (haven't heard them yet). it's gonna be real good!

in other news, i'm going to be joining long-time telefauna supporter and friend graham van pelt in his new miracle fortress band, along with sunset rubdown's jordan robson-cramer. we're going to texas for SXSW in march, which is really exciting. if only telefauna were going! anyways, look out for miracle fortress shows in the future. i'll be the one playing bass and keys who doesn't know the songs very well.

listen up major labels! telefauna is also still (theoretically at least) working on a buncha new recordings. we'll keep you posted when (if) that business progresses.

that's all for now

Hey there.   This new blog looks mighty fine.

On November 28th, we Telefauna kids are all playing a show at the Divan Orange.  Wierd thing is, Telefauna isn't going to play.  We're all playing as our respective solo projects, plus a bunch of friends are playing, including Think About Life's Graham Van Pelt, playing as Miracle Fortress, or Fort Miracle, or maybe something entirely unexpected (he's been talking about playing dance and hip hop beats, but who knows?)Mixylodian (formerly of his and Katherine's project Dorian Hatchet), and also I'm doing beats for Lil Pip.

My solo project is Random Creature Generator, Adam's is Tel Quel, Ian is Goodman Goodman, and Katherine is something wierd that I forget (I'm a bad friend).

Telefauna's next show is during my art vernissage, which is titled "Tyler Was an Artist".  It is my first vernissage!  I'm playing as Random Creature Generator, and I'm playing with Lil Pip.  It will be at the Green Room (5390 St.Laurent) on Friday DEC 1st.  To see some works and read more about it go to My Neural Art!

with much love,
-tyler
