Here is a video I acted in for Cory "Mr. Safety" Williams.
Maybe you know who is if you are a fan of YouTube.

Also, I will be in Italy Nov.25-29 because a film I am in and edited, Parade, was invited
to the Torino Film Festival. Beside that, Things You Don't Tell (the first movie
I acted in) is TRULY AVAILABLE on NetFlix, Amazon, & BestBuy.com.

ENJOY!

Current mood:  hopeful
I voted in Los Angeles County, California. It didn't take very long. 10 minutes maybe, and it was very close to my house. We had paper ballots, so no worries there.

However, my registration was misplaced or lost somehow, so I had to vote provisionally. I am pretty upset about that and hope my vote is counted. If it's not counted and the propositions or National Election go the other way, I will be very upset.

Did you vote? Did you have to wait in long lines? Are you too young to vote? Did you experience any voting machine errors? Did you experience similar registration problems?

-Ryan

P.S. - I think this is the most important election of my lifetime. I have never voted for George W. Bush, nor will I vote for anyone who pals around with him or Dick Cheney. In my book they are war criminals.

I haven't registered to vote yet. Have you? I'm not voting for the ticket with the MILF. Sure she's cute and I like her hair and glasses, but as soon as she tries to communicate everything around me dies. I'm talking about appetites, house plants, etc. In my view, McCain uses hatchets and Obama is a rocket surgeon with a scalpel. Agree, disagree? Can't wait for the comedy that will be the Vice Presidential Debates!

My brother Albert turned down appearances on America's Got Talent and the Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He doesn't particularly want to be known only for his Spit Art, or be exploited by big corporate television conglomerates. The O'Brien Show wanted him to draw a cartoon version of Conan which totally negated his artistic integrity. Albert says, and I agree, he would be much better suited for an interview by Charlie Rose.

The second film I starred in, Parade, won the Audience Choice Award at the Washougal International Film Festival, it's first festival appearance.

The first film I starred in, Things You Don't Tell was supposed to be for sale and released on Netflix. Apparently, the DVDs haven't even been produced!?! I don't have a copy of my own and doubly frustrated by that and announcing it to my all my e-friends when it doesn't yet exist. I offer my apologies and hope you still are interested when it is finally released.

I am building teeth. Not pulling.

Also, I share. This is a message from Australia from Melissa who rented Things You Don't Tell there and then found my MySpace. I thought it was interesting and a fair review. Plus it was nice to me and I felt good.

"Hi there! Thanks for accepting my request :)
I hired the movie out. In the start of the film I thought "Crikey, what is this?" The acting was kind of b-grade and the plot seemed a bit confusing. When I realised how the movie was coming together in those sequences it then became clear. But I must say, you were the real star of the show. When I saw your acting, I thought "Wow, this guy can really act! So real and convincing" I loved your character and you really portrayed it well. It is now one of my favourite movies.
It's up there with Mad House (2004) and Dawn of the Dead (2004).
I see your in another movie coming out soon. Eugene, I'll have to see that. The tagline for it on IMDB says "Lonliness is a killer". Sounds interesting.
Have a nice day.
-Melissa"

So there you go. I had a nice day. I immediately began building teeth. A whole tooth castle out in a cold desert. Speaking of which, the new Kings of Leon album is great. Back to portraying myself in life.

Current mood:  adventurous
well, when i was a teenager i had a big pimples. then i felt very shy and wore a baseball cap. i walked in the shadow and was afraid of girls. needless to say, insecurities buried me. then in college i got rid of my cap and was happy to be away from that high school and people. my sophomore year i had severe acne problem. this part gets a little gross so you might want to skip to next paragraph. the sebaceous glands produce liquid that causes severe acne. well the liquid leaking down my face under my skin until my cheeks was one massive acne farm. i know.

so anyway, i was prescribed accutane. a prescription drug that has a side effect, depression. that lasted nine months. one time my roommate found me in the dark, curled in a chair and rocking, listening to jewel. it was bad.

after all that, i wanted to overcome my shyness and depression. i started to perform at poetry readings. i did a talent show and days later people i didnt even know came up to me and said they saw me at the show and shook my hand and stuff. figured that's what i was supposed to do. make people laugh and feel happy. after all, a good laugh is a brain's orgasm.

then i wanted to make a website and post my videos. i wanted to make a catchy name. i had a bunch of ideas. my name. well ryanreyes.com belongs to someone. look it up, it's quite funny to me. i had a production name i used, but it was too long for a website. then i asked my friends which one they liked best. they say pimplywimp. i say okay. i make website.

when i was teenager i thought pimple was end of universe. that it would never end. well, that was naive. everything passes, no matter how bad or how good. appreciate the good times and loved ones. during hard times, remember there will be good times again. of course there is many things worse than pimple. every obstacle can be overcome. you can be whatever you want, whatever you believe yourself to be.

what's the difference between a FRENCH KISS and an Australian Kiss?
the joke's a bit dirty so i'll put the punchline and the end of the blog ;)

in personal news, i found out a movie i acted in called Things You Dont Tell will be available for rent in Australia on April 13th. i dont know where, but if you live in Australia, please keep an investigative eye out! also, thanks to a movie i did called Eugene (in post-production) i am now part of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon which can be played on imdb.com. Hint: Alex Veadov. in the film i play a male prostitute, no joke, and he's one of my customers, hahahaha. search ryan reyes on imdb.com to play.

Current mood:  shocked
Anybody have any ideas for a list of the most goodest bestest viral videos of 2007? My choices include Will Farrell's "The Landlord", Miss South Carolina, Tay Zonday's "Chocolate Rain", Chris Crocker's "Leave Britney Alone", SNL's "Dick In A Box", Dramatic Chipmunk, and 2Girls1Cup (this one is definitely not for everyone). Some of these were popularized with remixes and reactions that created a cultural phenomenon and made the videos much more fun. What videos do you think I neglected?

I just finished acting in my third feature film. I play a heroin user who sells himself to feed the addiction. Ought to be dark, provocative, and interesting. More word on that as it's received. As for Albert, another great art show.
