I bought Brooke "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" because it is has a lot of pictures in it and I thought she might like it because it is compleatly difrent from any book I have ever seen. Were most books use pictures to illistrate the words this book uses pictures to actualy tell parts of the story. Any way I am reading it to her and I am half way throu chapter four when I realize she has lost intrest. I ask her what is the matter and she says that story is boring. I then realize it is for ages 9-12 so I ask her if she is understanding all the words, because she can alwase ask what a word ment. She is like I know the words mean. So I ask again what she dosent like about the book. She says "The pictures a great but the word parts are boring. The boy isn't doing any thing fun." And Im like OK. I mean how many 5 year olds know the meaning of cautiously? or Instincrively? or mechanical? She never blinked an eye when I read these word. She understood all that I read out of the book eaven told me everything that had happed up until the point I stoped. She is going to shock her kindergarden teacher in the vocabulary part of spelling I garonte. She may not spell them right but I bet she gets all the defanitions correct.
Personaly I like the book. Of course I don't need a prince in every story I read eather.

Ok so I have been given the childrens section of the store to keep up and set up as I see fit or to keep set acording to the plan-a-gram. Well I go in to work Sunday and I was like WTF there was an Easter book display on the stuffed toy rack and all the Elmo toys were at the top of the "Ready to read" bay. (Bay: A single row of shelfs. Like a book case.) This had all of my ages 6-9 books all out of wack. Not to metion (ok I'm mentioning it) how bad the Easter books looked cramed onto the toy shelfs. So I bite my toung all day yesterday not wanting to piss some one off. Nora (my manager) was in this morning and I showed her what they did and she was like "They asked me if they could move the Elmo plush to the Sesame Steet section because thay had a buch of plush toys come in and I said yes but this is not what they said they were going to do." So I spent an hour and a half this morning puting everything back the way it was suposed to be. I'm like were they tring to make more work for me or what? Nora said that from now on she is going to make shure every body leaves childrens alone. Im like yea tell them I will start severing hands if they touch my section. I know I'm a bitch but I can't help it. I was put in charge of that section so if Remi comes it and sees is looking like crap that reflects on me. I was a bitch with the calendars too but we alwase got exalent reviwes when "they" saw it. Trish (A big manager) said that it was the best looking in the district. So yea I'm gona be a bitch. I get resuts that way. Mainly because people stay out of my way and let me do things the way I want to. All three of my kids are sleeping in the living room right now. I have to sleep on the couch because I promised I would sleep in there with them. (humm. I wonder if I could sleep in my bed and just try to get up befor they do? Probly not.) I had to clean there carpets because Evan my 2 year old son likes to piss and shit in the floor when he gets mad. He got realy mad today because his sisters were picking on him. So I had piss and shit everywere. Realy how much can one little body hold? The answer: A Lot. So I have to clean there room from top to bottom and the floor was still wet at bed time so I made a camp out in the living room like a slumber party and let them watch videos until they went to sleep. Wich was about 45 min ago. I'm tired. And I still have to put all there floor toys back were they belong, and clean the kitchen.
Ok I'm going to go now I just needed to vent. talke to everyone later.

Witch means more money and not that much more responsabilty. When I found out the position was avalible I made a joking sugestion that I could take it. But come to find out both my managers are thriled that I am taking it. I am so happy I could bust.

Murphy's Law by Lori Foster
This is the sequil to Jude's Law. I love this book as much as the first. Lori is a very talented author. I wont go into to much detale incase you havn't read Jude's Law yet. Ashley Miles is a kick ass cariter. I love her spunk and sassyness. Of course the fact that she is small brested won big points with me. Barly being an A-cup myself I love it when the heroin is similarly endowed. She has a strong work ethic that I have only seen in my mother-in-law. The Hero of course play the rich prince to her poor ciderella. But Quinton has a one big secret that he dosn't want ANYONE to know about. And you have to love the fact that when he finds out that simply showing and intrest in Ashley has put not only his hart but also his life in danger, not only dose he not run a millon miles in the other direction but dose every thing in his power ( or that she will let him get away with) to keep her safe. and away from the homisidle maniac tring to kill her and everyone she loves.
If you want more information on this fab book or would like to purchas it here is were to do that. Lori Foster's web page Border book stores The publishers page

I feel like jumping for joy. In fact I did. I jumped and sang and danced a little jig and called everyone in my family. Evan FINALY went peepee in the potty all by himself!!! You have to be a mom to aprecate how dificult it is to potty train a little boy. But trust me my ecstatic-ness is just. I was sitting on the couch talking to a friend and Evan bangs on the bathroom door, makes a fustrated soud then runs in the living room and yells "mommy go potty" they starts to chant "potty potty potty" while holding himself. So I hurry and get his little potty seat and put it down for him in the living room so that I can sit with him.But Chloe keeps getting his attention. (Because God forbid that big brother do something she dosn't have her nose in.) So he can't go. I get up and take her and put her in the crib and when I get back Evan is standing over his potty admiring his haddy work. I start squeeling and jumping up and down. I picked him up and swung him aroud and did a little dace. He started laughing. And was quite pleased whith the bag of m&m's I gave him befor dinner. (wich is a big no-no in our house. No snack befor dinner.) Hopfuly this is a good start. I am going to put him in only "big boy undies" tomarow and hope for the best. But with any luck he will use his potty at least once tomarow. I think the bigest help was the "Go Potty Elmo" that my aunt bought him. Even thou he didn't use it he didn't get off the potty for almost two days after getting it and has played with it every day since.I am going to make shure that doll (which I both love and hate) is next to his pottly all day.

"On the Edge" By: Pamela Britton
First let me say that if you read romace novles for the love seens you may not like Pamela's books. Sorry fokes no love seens here. This left me a little disapointed. However I did enjoy the story. She writes about normal people with normal problems. Nobody running from the law, And nether the Heroin nor the Hero of this story is in mortal peral. Well the Hero dose drive a race car. But no one is out to get him. While this book may not have you "On the Edge" of your seat, it is good for a quiet relaxing read.

Ok. So I was reading my friend Stacy's blog and she was saying that she wanted to be a better christian and start going to church and all that. Well I have been thinking that I would like to start attending church too. However there is one teeny tinny little problem. I don't like the ppl who go to church. I was raised a baptist and have lost all respect for them. I was shuned and call all kinds of evil because of the friends that I have. I have friends that are gay, goth, potheads, alchololics, pirced and tattooed everywere. And I see nothing wrong w/ being friends w/ these ppl. I may not aprove of some of the things they do but it by no means makes them bad ppl.
I made a discovery when I was 16 and that was the last time I tried to make friends at church. I realized that the so called "social outcast" I was suposed to avoid were the only ones who excepted me for who I was and not what I wore or how I spoke or what music I listend to. When I metioned that I had never listend to anything except Gospel and some country, because that was all my mom would alow they laughed { in a friendlly way} then turned on the cd player and just said "well listen to this" and if I didn't like or was offended my the music they played they either turned it off or changed the station. I didn't have to prove my self to them the just excepted me as long as I excepted them. I like and respect the friends I have now more than I did anyone in the 16 years that I went to church.
So to all my friends out there, I love you all, and want you to know that you mean a lot to me.xoxoxoxoxoxxoxox
