Current mood:bummed
For those who do not know, we have decided to continue the band without drummer Christopher Carrick. After sticking with the band for nearly four years, we feel that Chris has other priorities in his life right now, on which he is more focused and cannot remain committed to this band.
We apoligize to the fans in Columbus, Ohio, Augusta, Georgia, and Aiken, South Carolina for the three shows we have missed because of this.
In the interim, Joe of the band State of Crisis and formerly Knowface will be filling in for the show coming up in Charlotte North Carolina and possibly a few more.
We will be holding drummer auditions effective immediately, so send all inquiries to Jonthehardway@yahoo.com, to include audio clips or videos, or if you live in the CSRA area we can schedule a time to play some music together to see if you fit in Three The Hard Way.
We need someone who is committed to playing shows, period.
Myself and Crazy Johnny have always been the driving force behind Three The Hard Way, but we would like a drummer who would like to be part of the team, and be friends, and travel, and have a great time together as a band. The new drummer will have just as much imput into the creative direction of the band as we have, and will never be treated like, "the new guy/girl who replaced chris."
Thanks everyone, and we'll see you in the fray
~Jon The Hard Way

So last night, Crazy Johnny was jerking some wood and he broke his right hand. Literally.
We might have to cancel some shows coming up pretty soon, but Chris and I will discuss some other options to persue before we make that call.
everyone tell crazy johnny to get well soon. dammit.

Apparently, one of the boys in the Midnight Creeps, lets call him Jeff Creep for anonymity sake, was sporting his Three The Hard Way "Avril Lavigne is my bitch" T-shirt (available now, just scroll down on the main band page), in the great city of Austin, Texas.
Hanging out at his local bar, none other than Sum 41 and Avril Lavigne and management personnel were in his dive, frontin on his turf. Being as punk rock as they are, they sent their manager over to ask him to kindly remove the t-shirt. He promptly told them to fuck off.
More on this situation later as it continues to develop.... I guess we got Under Her Skin

2006 is going to be an exciting year for three the hard way. The highly anticipated release "Love.God.Murder" is about to drop like a ton of bricks and will then immediately sky rocket up the charts.
The summer will find the hard way opening for bands such as Green Day, hatebreed, and Cradle Of Filth. The debut of their music video for "Kill Your Girlfriend" will garner the most votes on TRL and become a Headbangers Ball mainstay.
Following an appearance at the VMA's, the hard way will begin pre-production of their follow up album, pending the grammy acceptance speach and performance in 07.
Yes, this is an exciting year.

We just returned from the recording studio where we did a little diddy entitled, "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things." Furman Fowler of Sick Sick Sick fame joined us for some 'gang vocals' and set things in motion.
The song will be out and available locally throughout Augusta on a benefit CD called Nightmare on Ellis Street. All proceeds go to childrens cancer research, so buy it! holla. from the hard way.

Greetings Minions,
Despite popular belief, hearsay, various newspaper articles and silly kids on message boards, The Hard Way are not breaking up. There is no new person in the band. It's still Jon, Chris, and Johnny. The End. Stop The Bullshit.
--------------------------------------
Anyway,
we're playing a free show at the playground on July 15th. Thats worth mentioning because it's free. and we like free.
We're playing a new song. It's good. We like it. We wrote it.
