Dear Members and Listeners of Haunted Voices Radio as well as the HVRN Radio Network Corporation programs. I as the President of the Corporation and writing this message to you so you are made aware of our current finacial situation. Times are very tough for us all right now, with gas prices and the econemy itself. I want you to know that this does have a serious effect on us as well, but by the grace of God we are pulling through for now. We will do our very best to keep all that we have but as it stands now, without your donation help, we will be forced to make some serious cutbacks in our programs as well as other luxuries that we have aquired over the years.

I am not ask you to make multi-dollar donations here, but each dollar alone does add up and will help us keep afloat in the months to come. You will be seeing some VERY large changes coming up next month and this is all due to your previous donations and support. We do all that we can with every penny you send us and the best thing about all of this, is that all of your donation are 100% tax deductible! So basicly you get you donation (whatever it may be) right back at the end of your tax season. This is all part of being a registered 501c(3) educational public chairity. We do all that we can to give you the best guests, information, and education to get you started in the paranormal field and rarely take a dime from you for it. That is just not that way I operate and refuse to give anyone the education that both want and deserver to better themselves in this field!

Congratulations are in order for Ron Oliver!! He has won the HVRN MySpace Page Scariest Story Contest. He will be receiving a $15 Wal-Mart Gift Card, as well as, three One Time only, Limited Edition design products from the Haunted Voices Radio Network.



Ron's Entry:

"Seven years ago, while on the job(at the time, I was a grounds keeper for an apartment complex).It was around 11:50 am, a nice clear day...I was pushing my supply cart back to the work shop and enroute, about thirty to thirty five feet in front of me, I had noticed an odd looking person(or so I thought, at that brief moment) that appeared to have moved really quickly in front of me between the apartment complex carport areas, it was coming from the one carport area going across to the back end of the apartment building...it looked as though it was sliding across the ground, not walking ! It was all black and it looked as if it had a hood over it's head. It looked really strange, the figure was humanoid, but I couldn't see any facial features, arms or skin, etc.
The best way to describe what I saw was a black shadowy being, a three dimentional silhouette. It did however, have two legs...but I didn't see it's feet...maybe that explains why it was sliding along the ground and not walking? I quickly ran up to where it had passed (out of curiosity) and it vanished and nothing was there.This all had taken place really quick, several seconds...then it was gone,just like that ! The carports were empty, no cars...everyone was gone. To this day, I still don't know exactly what it was that I saw. But it was really a scary encounter for me with the unexplained and I will never forget it. I saw this being in broad daylight and for me, it will forever leave a lasting impression in my life.

Contest!Contest!Contest!

 

On HVRN Yahoo Group, Face book, and MySpace pages we are having the scariest true story contest.  Each webpage has a different prize.  On Yahoo Group we are giving away one free EVP Course all the way to Certification a $100 value, on Face Book Michelle Desrochers is donating a Thomas Straub Ghostly Painting a $20 value, and on MySpace we are giving away a $15 gift certificate to Wal-Mart donated by the HVRN secretary/treasurers mother.  The contest starts this Friday on July 25th and will end the next Friday August 1st.  The winners will be notified by August 5th via email and on the WebPages.  So every one please get those stories in for you could be a winner.

As you all know, the Sarah Estep website has been down for a few days for repairs as well as a brand new custom theme designed by HVRN Corporations very own Jason Baker. The website looks wonderful and is now much easier to navigate as well as faster to load! Sarah's website is our newest addition to the HVRN Corporation and we are very proud of it as well as what it is going to do for you the viewer in the very near future.

She willed her analog cassette tapes to him and he will be analyizing them and placing them in Sarah's evidence gallery for EVERYONE to listen to and learn from. The Soulseekers will air their first LIVE radio interview on Saturday July, 12th from 10pm – 12midnight (London GMT) on Soulseekers Supernatural Radio http://www.soulseekers.org.uk/SupernaturalRadio.html  Their guests will be Brian Lambert and Trevor Weller.



Both guests will be discussing their roles as mediums in paranormal investigating. As well as previous ghost hunting highlights. Listeners can ask questions via MSN Messenger and email at soulseekersradio@hotmail.co.uk
