Sorry for the delay on day 6….

Guitars are tracked and my hands are still in tact.  Cameron is still AWOL, Jon has been sleeping with a real dog (it’s true just check out the picture that I recently uploaded) and our fearless leader (Brian) has started on the keys.  Everything thus far has sounded better than we all expected.  Tim over here at “The Awakening” has been great.  He has put in a lot of effort and great criticism so far on the album.  We finally get to hear all of the music pieced together on the recordings and we are super excited.  I hope everyone is ready and has their “Imagination” ready for this new album.  Can’t wait to see you guys all out at Spin on the 20^th in Broadripple.  We are playing with a couple of really good bands (The Last Good Year and The Holiday).  It should be a great time!

Productive day so far, we even arrived within ten minutes of being on time this morning. Buddy and Brian are finishing up most of the distorted rhythm guitar tracks, which already sound as thick as peanut butter smeared on elephant balls. There may be another day/half a day’s worth of guitar work to be done, after that Brian should be laying down the keys and we will be that much closer to universal domination via sonic godliness.

In a more twisted turn of events - Cabin fever is beginning to rear its ugly head a bit. While Brian has remained productive throughout respective downtime by pre-programming synth/keys, Cameron has gone AWOL to join the latest Cookies for Christ Cult Marching Band last spotted somewhere in the blackest hole of Calcutta. For my own part, I have had no choice but to increase my intake of digitally scanned graphic novel works. I’m also getting closer to mastering the flexibility required to pull both feet behind my head while sitting in an upright position. Perhaps when all is said and done I will be able to wipe my ass with my feet? The possibilities are endless.

We do sincerely look forward to seeing you all out again soon. We have a show at Spin Nightclub in Broadripple on the 20^th  (with The Last Good Year and The Holiday)– while the CDs won’t be produced by then we will be pulling out some of the new material that will be on them. Come out and join us for good times and such if you’re in the mood to be out and about.

Hello hello again my fellow rockers.  Its me Brian again with another I-Exist update from the studio.  Today is day four at the awakening studios and things are really coming together with Buddy adding guitar.  The tone is sounding pretty ballsy and really sick with Cameron and Jon underneath it.  We are currently on track 5 and its probably the heaviest song on the album.  That means I better step up my vocal game with some screams / yells.  Hopefully I don’t sound like a little girl throwing a temper tantrum when the time comes to lay down the vocals.

We went to Marsh for lunch.  Jon and Buddy had a salad while me and <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />..Cam.. went for the old frozen chimichangas.  Mmm those were delicious!!  Its been a pretty big change of pace not working at PF Changs the past few days and just focusing entirely on music.  I definitely enjoy this a lot more, but that’s not to say its super easy.

We are really happy with the way things are going here at the Awakening Studios and Tim has been really cool helping us achieve the sound we want and throwing in ideas here and there.  We are just chugging away and cant wait to hear the finished product.
