Hello Friends,

I just returned from the "Zappa plays Zappa" tour. It was an amazing experience that will stay with me forever. Dweezil invited me up to guest, and we traded solos in front of a sold out crowd.

Now the real work begins as Dweezil and I finish mixing all the shows for downloads on "Nugs". It's quite the task seeing that every show is 3 hours long, 48 tracks and a different set list every night!!! Though let me tell you...it sounds unreal and is well worth the time spent.

I'm also recording guitarist Dean Brown with part of "The Tonight Show Band", plus an amazing singer/piano player "Sunday Lane" in the next few weeks... while returning to teaching at Musicians Institute. Busy is an understatement!

Looking forward to heading out next week with Dweezil and the "Zappa plays Zappa" band. I'm mixing all the live recordings the fans receive for attending. It'll be good times seeing the mobile recording rig is so good, the mixes sound like there in the studio. I may even get to play a bit of guitar...too cool.

I highly recommend you see this show! Not only will you get a night of the finest Zappa possible...but a pro download of that very show, to enjoy and remind you of how amazing the band and evening truly was.

You know... I read, and am moved by every number that adds up on my counter....by every soul that posts a comment giving me hope...by every friend that ever wrote me, or called me.

I seem to never respond to all these soulmates. It's not out of disrespect....it's  just because I like to view them as pictures. People and places I want to meet and go. Somewhere in me I truely think...I'll run into these "friends" one day.

I'm a teacher at heart. And I view us all as journeymen on a quest for interesting sonic escape. I've seen the internet open up the world to new minds and ideas in music...and I'm alive with hope!

Well...Moe's 2 is mixed. It should be out shortly and I do hope you enjoy all the effort I put into the mixing. It's headphone friendly, HEY! That's what we should call it! That or SNOUT.

I'm playing a gig at the Baked Potato with some great friends...and thank god for that, because there such amazing musicians! Now I can relax thinking.."yea, I'm in the wrong key, but they like me"

Just finished digital versions of all songs...now time to chop together the best of everything . All were mixed through an SSL 4000G+...just one batch I ran to 15ips analog as the final, the new ones I mixed 48k 24bit. I still may hit tape with them as well...we'll see.

Should be out soon though! Hope you'll enjoy the production side as well as the music! I know I enjoy doing it!
