As bad as we might be on writing these blogs, heres a little update for ya!
Last night we started on the recordings for the new album.
It will be finished with the recordings probably today before lunch because koff jeppe and fredrik is tighter than a virgin! 8 songs done yesterday, inshort under 5 hours, with a listening to everything that got recorded right after it was tracked, then a smoke!
Some tobacco company oughta sponsor us for that one!
16 analog channel tracking were we recorded everything but my vocals.
Drums bass and guitarr is done at the same time. Even the solos!
And thats a little ballsy, cause i dont know to many bands that put down the solo on the first run of the song with the rest of the guitar. For those unfamiliar with recording, most albums is done after a clicktrack that tell the drummer what tempo to keep, and then you record guitarr, and then bass. That way, you canstop if u fuck up and do it again. So mostly everybody is chasing a fucking clicktrack that dictate the flow of the music. We unleash our beasts, letting the mood of the minute shape the song.
Getting the natural flow and groove.I was really impressed with them guys last night, i thought we´d be done with maybe 4 of the songs leaving the majority for today, saturday. But hell no, 8 fucking songs, and the last song to be recorded for last night timed in on shortly over 8 minutes.
I just got up, its about 08:25am cause i couldnt sleep due to some wierdas dreams that somewhere will end up in the lyrics.
Today, were gonna go and pick up some beer get to the studio and lay down the rest of the tracks. then a little celebration for the speed of this recording.

Might try to get some pics and pop them in here this weekend.

Now its seems that the summer is over. Fall is upon us again and more time in the studio as well. Cause there aint much else to do! (or that we want to do)

New songs are spinning in our Myspace player. Finally we got the songs from the new release Through the Shotgun Barrel up there! The track list is:

02 - Dead Man's hand
03 - Over the Under
04 - Can't Deny
05 - Keep on Rolling

At the moment we are also writing and preproducing a new batch of songs where we will have our new awesome drummer Fredrik beat the living shit out of the drums.

After more than over a year we are a complete band again, and that just feels fucking great. If any of u got some ideas of where we could do a gig in your town, please feel free to drop us a line and we will try to haul ass there.

And feel free to comment on the new songs as well!

Vi hade ett gig inbokat på pub anchor, men det är inte totalt spikat och finns därför inte längre uppe som ett listat gig.
Förmodligen blir det av det datum det tidigare var utsatt. Men för närvarande är inget spikat och kollat så det inte blir en dubbelbokning.
Mer om det så fort vi vet något.

DRS is back in the game again! For the fist time in a very long time we have a drumset in our rehearsing room again. Many thanks to Viperas drummer for letting us borrow his set to try out drummers. Fredrik is the name of our new drummer. And he kick some serious ass!
Back in the game and hungrier then ever. New songs is gonna be written and a new chapter is about to start. Like before, better then ever!

A new year has come, as well as our new drummer who knows how to kick some serious ass. Finally this band has the best fucking musicians there is to find on this planet!
We played the emergenza festival and got votes enought to go to the semifinals in april. 2'nd place.
Yeah yeah, second place first loser right, naah this was the warm up! We're planing on killing the competition.
We rehersed for a month, and maybe 6 times with Matte, our drummer, and he nails it all, that says a lot.
So if you're around the bend for the next gig do come and do scream all the fuck you can and let them know we're here to stay!
Cause we aint plannin on goin away anytime soon!

Due to some slight issues. The gigs rising in the horizon kind of went down before we got to do them.
Thats because we are replacing our drummer. The audition is on and going strong!

We will aim for the first live gig in a hundred years. (feels like it) this January the 16th. My fucking birthday, so nothing should go wrong.

Hey folks, new gigs are lining up on the horizon. And D.R.S first unplugged gig as well. No dates are done yet, what is planned is a gig at Klubben in Stockholm in January in the emergenza music festival. And we are planning to win that fucking thing to. So if youre in stockholm when it gets closer to the date that we will get in the beginning of dec drop by and cheers on us. =)
For the rest of the people that wont be here listening to the live gigs to come, hopefully will find a recordlabel that wanna do someting with us and get us on a long tour to visit you all.
The unplugged gig will be held at a place in Stockholm called Speakeasy, they got some kickass food there, and some neightbours that dont like to load volumes, so we thought a gig is a gig and a gig is still a gig without the cables and stuff.
So that will be fun. Cheers to those reading this and hope youll get a great night.
