The Album Launch Party, Birmingham

We're really happy to be working with The Silk Stocking Striptease Show on the party to celebrate the launch of our new album "WE WON'T HURT YOU (BUT WE WON'T GO AWAY)", on Saturday November 8th at The Asylum, , 38-41 Hampton Street, Birmingham, B19 3LS. Doors open 8pm and the show starts pretty much immediately.

We've managed to keep it FREE on the door. The venue is brilliant, fantastic sound system.

There are all sorts of treats in store for you... Of course, we will be playing, but you'll also have orchestral metal from Hanging Doll, music and entertainment from the depraved mind of Des O'Connor and Burlesque Performances from Angel LaVey, Darkteaser and Miss Ditzy Diamond. Al The Gentleman Geek is ready to blow your mind with his live magic show; and we've got giveaways, advance signed copies of the album for sale, and lots of other suprises.

This is my dog Bolly



I've just found out that she may have a gluten allergy which means that normal dog food can make her feel a bit run down and make her skin feel itchy.

I know, it's tragic and terrible that poor Bolly, who was abandoned as a puppy,. taken in by Battersea Dog's home and in turn adopted by me, should ever have to feel anything other than 150% brilliant.

Did i mention that Bolly was once run over by a Mini when i (foolishly) left her in my mothers care? Bolly was ok, just very bruised. but she can no longer watch any film staring Minnie Driver without suffering seizures of fear.


"How can I help Bolly?" I hear you cry!!

Well, there is a gluten free dog food which Bolly LOVES which has given a sparkle to her eyes and an extra wag to her tail, but it costs more than regular dog food, of course, Bolly is worth it, but YOU can help!

Well, iunless you've been hiding under a rock, you'll know we have a single out on the 20th of October.
It's a double a-side featuring "Trick or Mistreat" and our cover of  The Rocky Horror Picture Show's "Sweet Transvestite".

We've just had a review of the second track, and it's pretty good...

"To put it simply its the best cover i have ever heard, close your eyes and you can see Tim Curry, Lord Zion does the perfect impression (Maybe MTV should get him to play Frank-N-Furter in their remake tv special next year) and at one point i thought they had Little Nell on backing vocals, its as camp as a dvd box set of carry on movies !

However i feel the chance was missed here to do a 4 track ep and they could have thrown in a couple more covers of RHS or a couple of their older songs to get out to a potential new audience which this release will almost certainly attract.

Hello everyone! We're in the studio on the 2nd day of recording the b-side to our single which is coming out in october over the week of my birthday (hint, hint). This blog is being done via my mobile so please excuse any crappiness. Yesterday (weds) we got the drums, bass and guitar done in record time. We're in a studio in bermondsey with Tipler, who produced our album. Today we are doing vocals, backing vocals and mixing. We may actually get the whole lot finished today, if not, we'll finish up tomorrow. At the moment, Zion is doing takes of the lead vocals. Sounding really good, don't think he will need to do many takes. Once he's done, i'll add my backing vocals, some very high bits but not much to do. No gilez with us today. As always he likes to get his drum parts out of the way and then devote his time to masturbation. We are mastering this track on monday, then later that day we are playing at the underworld in camden. Come along, we'll be playin the b-side.

After years of struggling on the underground music scene; pushing the boundaries of decency and good taste wherever we could; ignoring "advice" to moderate our performances or to tone down our extremeties, we are proud to announce that, yesterday, on 3rd August 2008, WE GOT SiGNED!
So, before I continue, a big FUCK YOU to everyone that did not believe in SPiT LiKE THiS! We shall be vindicated!
We have been talking with several labels for a while now but decided to make our home with Indie label TRANSCEND MEDiA GROUP (also home to Fields Of The Nephelim & Belisha). We are as excited by them as they are with us. They are a forward thinking label that totally understand the SPiT LiKE THiS ethos.
Our debut single will be out on October the 20th followed by our debut album, titled "WE WON'T HURT YOU (BUT WE WON'T GO AWAY". Distribution by both will be via CARGO. We will have more information soon.

We are unbeatable, we are unstoppable - as CYNDi proved on the way back from SLT HQ last night when he crashed his car, crawled out of the windscreen (which had been smashed by his head) and dusted himself off! He is OK though and ready to continue our onward march.

Loads of stuff is happening but nothing is happening fast enought even though in the last month alone some really big things have happened.

Well, we should have a single out in october, and our long-awaited album to follow shortly after.
Got real big hopes, with real good reason which i won't go into now... lets just say we done good!
