I received the order yesterday and have been very pleased with both products. It's amazing how D. put us in contact right in time. I was getting so frustrated w/ trying to find a strong hair moisturizer that is not petrolatum-based. I have been using oils, but our hair gets dry very quickly. Creams were not working at all. I had gotten a few suggestions of products, but some seemed to change the texture of the hair (I'm looking to keep my strong kink!) and/or were very expensive $50+ per jar. I used the mane pudding and so far have been pleased. I hope this becomes a staple for us because I'm tired of searching for hair products and it's great to support another woman's business.

Also, I love the shea butter. Does it have baby powder in it? I'm thinking I'm going to order another scent for hubby though. Is sandalwood the only one for men? Oh yes, thanks so much for the extra butter.

Tru! Stakes are high, but will we remain low? I am a single mother who has had to contemplate which aspect of self I would move thru in order to keep me and my baby rising. Part of this "rising" is knowing that she is watching me and everything that I move thru...There have been a few days in our life where she ate and I didn't - she slept and I didn't - she had heat and I didn't. But know, I was there "rising"...As the freshly refined, golden moon after the midnight storm...My spiritual namesake was not acquired by the lowerlevel potential of using my beauty to get what I want/need to care for my dawta...Instead of making it rain, I opted to make it hurricane for effective change and not to poison my dawta's brain. I'm about daily evolution and "rising" to the highest height that the Creator/my Divine Self affords me for the day. Yeh, I know, I could press the natty out and go down to the Velvet Room and catch one of the same brothas that was on that basketball court and not even be awake to take part in this converse. But, I would rather take small naps and be up Hustlin and Grindin and Grindin and Hustlin - for my dawta. Showing her the highest traits of our bloodline and how we can rise spiritually and economically thru the beauty of our legacy. So no matter how hot that $6666 ad looks in the local Lil 5 cool people newspaper, it ain't worth frying ya egg. Especially, when the ones we lay are golden, right? We must get our domes in tact, for it is the mothers who will show our families how to "rise". Just because the media keeps the downtrod on our kings...Provided that you've got one who is accepting of pure goddess energy, when he "rises" for you, let it be in the power of prosperity and healing life energy for you and your seeds as opposed to getting off thru his lower animalistic qualities. Then, you "rise" for him, taking care of his body and mind thru the grace and beauty of your mind and body. Creating something of goodness...So few of us really look out for one another any more due to the lack of focus we opt to exercise. Spike was right, and you were too, so many of would rather tune in that idiot box to define ourselves instead of looking, really looking, in the mirror. We nah do dat ting ova here - we re-member ourselves as Ausar and realize ours as powerful beacons of light life and legacy Hatshepsut wills us to do daily ova here. We rise in order to break the cycles of chains...Freedom begins at home, first, provided that you are a pyramid builder - SunMoonStars, Baby! That's where we are ova here...I gots to have it!
