Texas NORML is working with Pluckers Wing Bar to raise funds for our cause, and you can help by coming out to the designated Pluckers locations on the designated days!
    Texas NORML will get 20% of food sales from tables who say they are there for Texas NORML!

Hey all you Texas NORML supporters! We will no longer be meeting at the Hickory Street location, and are excited to announce a new venue for our monthly, first-Wednesday, open meetings, starting with our next meeting on Wednesday, December 2nd. Our new monthly meeting location will now be, Flamingo Cantina, 515 E. 6th St., Austin, TX, 78701. http://www.flamingocantina.com http://www.myspace.com/flamingocantina Our meetings will still be on the first Wednesday of every month, and will start at 8:00pm. But now, at the Flamingo Cantina, our meeting will be followed by their "Good Vibes Wednesday" Reggae showcase! That's right, you can now join Texas NORML for the monthly meeting, and hang out afterwards listening to some great Reggae music!! I will be sending a reminder out about this change before the December meeting, just in case it slips your mind. On another note, I'd like to invite you all to come out to Ruta Maya this Friday night, November 13th, for roots Reggae, Dub, and a CD release party for Idiginis!! Our good friend, McPullish, will also be on hand to mix some of the best live DUB you'll ever hear! Texas NORML will be on hand with our info/merch table, and will be buzzed up on some of Ruta Maya's wonderful organic, shade-grown coffee. Nice discussion except for Barry McCaffrey, who is a complete idiot and in the pockets of the pharmaceutical industry (notice how he slams medical marijuana while at the same time promoting synthetic, pharmaceutical made, cannabinoids!).
