    First of all, a round of gratitude for all of the love y'all have shown us at the shows and otherwize. Things are moving forward swifly and we are having a lot of fun keeping up with you. The out of town interest is especially wonderful....and as for the Texas Crew - y'all already know that you rule! Keep doing what you do.

As many of you know, we're planning to be out of Texas a considerable part of the rest of the year and more still in 2008. We need a van for real. We are watching the listings diligently, but if you know somebody thinking about selling a large passenger van please link us up. We're generally searching in the lowest price range where the vehicle can be trusted to get us safely to a west coast tour [or equivalent] and back without getting with the emergency roadside sevice scene. Please spead the word. Statistically, one of you knows someone who needs to sell just such a van. Link!

Alright, so the Great Rock & Roll Swindle lives on. Internet shoppers please shell out one dollar to purchase this new track fresh out! Kind of a 12" trip where Brox works a couple minutes, Diedrich sips a cup, and the tune winds down with some version with horns and piano. I love how the piano (which is essentially in the kitchen) sounds on this track. Many thanks to DJRJ on drums, PJ on guitar, Jah-Romeo on piano, Jason Frey on tenor, Ray Strucker on trumpet. This summer is very exciting not only because it will see the long awaited release of "Boderation," but also because two close friends and long ago collaborators with the group have decided to relocate to Austin and become part of Mr. Brown. A [very] warm welcome to PJ Herrington and Juddah Manni from Cincinnati. We're about to bust a whole extra palatte of sounds.  

This is now the myspace site for the reggae group which is called Mr. Brown and will include things related to the group and reggae music. The site myspace.com/family_sauce will be for the artist Kris Brown. The calendar, photos, and music areas of the site will dedicated to Kris's musical exploits outside of  Mr. Brown. The mp3s will be frequently revolving demos of new tunes and live edits. The calendar will contain dates Kris has with other groups such as Cyril Neville's Tribe 13.
