We've finished recording three new songs, give them a listen on our site. Also we'll be headling the Redstone Room on Saturday, July 18th. Last time we played the Redstone, we blew a transformer and the power on the entire block went out. Hopefully this will not happen again and we get to play more than 6 1/2 songs...
Opening the show will be a Head Held High, followed by Chicago natives Mr. Russia. Our olds friends Jaiguru will be closing the show down. Hope to see you fellow Quad-Citians there. I think well have copies of the new CD ready by the show, so bring a few extra dollars and a flashlight.

We saw many new faces and met a lot of wonderful people last night. But alas, our patented brand of musical skull-duggery was not enough, and so we did not win the competition. We however did receive many high praises, and found out later that night that by far and wide we received the highest ratings from the three judges (69 of 75 points, the nearest band got only 39 points). We welcomed that news as a worthy consolation prize.
A tip of our collective hat to the Chicago Noise Machine for putting on a nearly seamless show, and thank to all the bands and their fans, and our fans, for graciously sticking around till 11PM to catch our show. Thanks to anyone who saw that show and voted for through the interweb.

Thank you to everyone who came out and saw us perform for 5 and two thirds of a song for you. When the power cut off and we were all completely surrounded by that communal blanket of darkness, we too became like confused caged animals and headed to the bar once we realized that a tap requires no electricity in order to work. As Neil (manager of the redstone) explained to us, a nearby transformer outside had been destroyed, and not only did the Redstone Room lose power, but also the restaurant down stairs and even the f'in skybridge. We feel that apologies are deserved to the people who were trapped inside the elevator (and thank yous to the Davenport Fire Dept for the successful rescue). Now, we all know that it would be fucking radical to take responsibilty for playing so loud and destructive that we actually caused all of this mess, but we won't due to the legal implications that this may cause. And by the way, we are communicating with the RSR in order to try and book another show as soon as possible (mainly because if this shit happens again, I think we can definatly give ourselves some sort of self-gratifying title as 'most destructive rock band since the Who" or 'the band that blows transformers'). Until next time y'all Roadheads.

I hope everyone had a fantastic time at the show Friday night, it was record attendance for a Roadless gig (183 paid to get in - not bad). We will be back at the Redstone, so keep an eye on this site for the date. By the way, there are still some t-shirts for sale, in Small and Mediums only. They each cost $8 so thats how much it will cost you unfortunate fans who spent all of your money at the bar. The colors are blue and yellow (pictured below). Thats all for now, Im really fighting a hangover which is impeding my creative writing right now. See you all soon. -Rich

Below the Redstone Room is a restaurant called the Woodfire Grill, where they actually have a woodfire grill. And the Redstone Room, turns out is a room made out of red stone. Therefore weve decided to change the name of our band to Blood Dragon. I hope you all understand.
Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed their Saturday night with us. Im in the midst of getting audio and video from the show, so keep checking the site. And by the way our next show will be sometime in April (TBA).

As far as I've heard, no one broke any limbs after either of our shows at Ribco or Lumpy's so I would not be jumping the gun by saying that the curse has been broken. To our friends, our fams, our fans, and the bands (or any combination thereof), thank you for making it out to these two memorable shows. We've already secured our next gig, its going to be at the Redstone Room, Saturday March 29th at 9:00pm, alongside side our friends, local rockers Head Held High, as well as Burnt Ends, who hail from Muscatine, Iowa. Hope to see you all next time. Rich P.S. check out the pictures from the show.

If you thought Led Zeppelin reuniting after 19 years was a big deal, just wait 'til you see Roadless after a three month hiatus. In that time we've gone through marriage, divorce, self revelation, hair cuts, and cigarette butts. New tracks include the songs "When your right, your wrong" and "Buena Vista Shit House."
Noel's arm is almost out of it's harness. The table has been set. The feast begins in early February. Come celebrate with us, won't you? Details to be added later...

as some of u guys know, and the many that dont, i broke my arm on saturday. in an incredible showmanship of bravery, i saved a young girls life by throwing her out of the way of a train. the train hit me, but since im so manly it only broke my arm. thats my story. anyway the doc says i cant play guitar for at least 6 weeks. this sucks. but there is light at the end of this tunnel. i know john and rich have both been working on some new and tasty licks. this will give them plenty of time 2 bring their new babies to sorensen so he can work his magic. so hopefully the next time we play live, we will have so new roadless singles for u guys. i want to appologize to the fans and my fellow bandmates for not being able to play. and mostly i want to appologize to u. u have just wasted a good amount of time reading this shitty blog. sorry. noel
