The organic coffee made by the Portland Roasting company and served at Hollywood Wine & Espresso is the proud sponsor of this long overdue blog entry...

Peace to everyone who has kept in touch while we're out on road, means a lot for real, and on top of that we need someone to worry about us if for some totally expected reason we suddenly phase out of existence somewhere on some non-descript stretch of interstate. It is a great thing to be able to report via WIFI cafes across the US, so props to all the little spots that put up with our overstaying of welcomes. Onward:

Chicago was pretty much the dopest show of the tour far as crowd and perfomances went, big up to DJ 3rd Rail who killed it and of course Sidewalk Skolaz. The AM was blessed by Letizia's Natural Bakery with a dome-sized bagel and lox + other baked goodies washed down with some strong coffee to boot. DJ Shon Dervis, Cut and Angry Skinny also murdered the afterparty with no shadow of reservation.

Ann Arbor: One Be Lo is one real cat, lyrically and in character. Great show, and what a city! - records, food, people, juice-spots... DOPE. Can't wait to get back out, but if so we may never leave, lol.

Grand Rapids: All I got to say is: Dude puking out the car directly in front of hotel entrance was priceless, specially with Auttomattik's shoulder-shrug! Yo Slugwell, definitely holla fam...

Ogallala, NE: Not an official stop on the tour, however, a place we'll never forget. Big up to Dave + the whole Ford dealership, also shouts to the Holiday Inn Express staff (specially Mike and John) ... Waitress at Front Street was not only considered by some of us to be the best in the world, but that place has some history. Loved the taco spot and fresh made Horchatas pon departure...

Green Bay: Cool spot, not to mention Mario's round corner from spot who serious hooked us up on the eats (yeah, we stay hungry!), and the entire crew for looking out on every level. Ginsu did his thing-thing, and best believe the seed has been planted for more to happen very soon.

Omaha: Not a show stop, however, a lay-over after Des Moines. Thanks to Pete for the roomy crash spot on top of just being a real cool cat. Can't wait to work on getting out there again and makin it happen thurrrrrrr

Salt Lake City: My first time to this quaint city nestled between mountains on most sides was met with the utmost in hospitality (What up Bryan! + Nicolette and Sabrina - HOLLA!), nothing like waking up to the mountains against a clear blue sky. Late night was made that much realler thanks to Molcasalsa. The drive in and out of SLC was just breathtaking as far as mountains/open landscape, however a word to the wise is to never slack on getting gas being that you can drive forever without seeing a station for real.

Boise Idaho: Didn't know what to expect, however this is a very dope town on the low. Great food for one (Tapas Estrella and Zen Bento!), and great music people all over the joint. Big up to Lee for coming thru despite the problematics, and a very big shout to Lifesavas who not only killed it the next night, but definitely are extremely cool heads.

Spokane: Wild town! Wax on the low for real, not to mention some serious hospitality (Jaeda, Johanna, JR - got that coffee cup fam). The BLVD was wild, and shout to host/operator Terry for holding us down, them ladies were WILING! Happy b-day Will, we'll be buildin more.

Still gotta relate experiences from the countless other stops like Des Moines (bail bonds capital!), Carbondale, Boston, Columbia, Buffalo, Champaign, Cincinatti, Portland, and more.

From 9 cats to 3, 3 groups to 2, 4 days stranded in Ogallala Nebraska, 8 out of 10 stalls during gear shifts, and who knows how many vanishing show dates relate the unsure journey that is the first installment of the New Royalty Tour. Wouldn't you like to join us for the next one? If so, we can't wait to abduct any naive hip hop enthusiasts next year, GET AT US!
