Speaker Speaker talks about Detroit from a Wendy's in Columbus, OH.

Jasen sings karaoke in a bar nearby in Detroit, MI. Somehow, he doesn't get murdered.

In this next video, Jasen tries to earn $5 by eating a table spoon of cinnamon.

Hey everyone! Guess what time it is...
No seriously- guess.
Good guess, but the Pope isn't taking Danny's
calls anymore.
Wrong again. Jasen hasn't been to Sea World
in weeks. He still has a month or two before the
restraining order is lifted, anyway.
Give up? It's tour blog time!

Our Fall 2007 tour kicked off last Friday with a
show at the Neurolux in Boise. We hung out
there with our new friends of Sleeping in the
Aviary from Madison, WI. We went from there
to Salt Lake Lake City, where we played with
the Brobecks and Division Day.
Last night, we were in Denver, CO, where we
met a cousin of Danny's named Manny. We
manged to lose Manny, but I doubt we've seen
the last of him.

And now, a bit of sugary sweetness to balance
out that frightening scene; Colin's mom made
him this awesome cover to protect his amp.

We got to talk to Ted and the Pharmacists after their Bumbershoot performance. You know what that means? That means that our show at the Old Redmond Firehouse on Friday is going to be awesome, inspired, and not-to-be-missed.

We're headlining the OFH 15-year Anniversary show with Shane Tutmarc and the Traveling Mercies (featuring Shane Tutmarc from Dolour)and Night Canopy (featuring Amy Blashke and former Pretty Girls Make Graves drummer Nick DeWitt).

We're celebrating the now nationwide availability of our new EP, We Won't March, thanks to Burnside Distribution!

What does this have to do with you?  Plenty!

Although you can still order the EP from the Burning Building Recordings website, you should go to your local record store and pick up a copy of We Won't March.  If they don't have it, request it.  The more store sales we have, the more Burnside will care about us.  Why should you care about whether or not Burnside appreciates our business?  Well, I'm glad I pretended you asked.  Because, if they care about us, then they may choose to continue work with us when our upcoming full length, Call It Off, COMES OUT IN FEBRUARY 2008 ON BURNING BUILDING RECORDINGS!

You heard correctly; our long awaited full length now has a release date!

Aside from getting We Won't March, there are other ways you can help make the Call It Off launch as cool as possible.

We have a "Street Team", but, as the members know, we haven't utilized them very much.  That's about to change.  We need major help promoting our records and shows not only in Seattle, but all over the country.  Street Team members who help us out and can prove it will be rewarded with things such as gust list spots, shirts, inside knowledge of what's happening in the Speaker Speaker camp, getting to hang out with us, that sort of thing.   Email us back if you want to join or find out more about the Street Team.

Also, if you want to be up on our website and/or MySpace, send us pictures of yourself wearing a Speaker Speaker shirt!  We'll be making a special section of the website and MySpace for these pictures, so if you want in, do it up!

Here are some upcoming shows we should tell you about-

d00d, it's totally easy!

If you want to be in Speaker Speaker's top friends, do one of the following-

1. Go to this page to get the code to embed the We Won't March banner on your Myspace page. It looks like this-

2. Make We Won't March your profile song

3. Take a picture of yourself wearing a Speaker Speaker shirt, or holding a copy of one of our EPs, and make it your default profile picture. If you don't have a shirt, you can buy one on our website in the SHOP section. If you don't have a copy of We Won't March, you can buy it here.

Once you have fulfilled one of these requirements, let us know, and we'll put you in our top friends! Isn't that cool?

Also - a new page of the website is coming soon. It's going to be all about you! Take pictures of yourself and friends with Speaker Speaker shirts, buttons, cds etc and send them to us. For members of the Street Team, take pictures of yourself putting up posters or promoting shows in some way and send them to us! Not a member of the Street Team? Send us a message to join! We will be posting these pictures on this new page of the website as soon as we get some submissions.

Talk to you all soon.

Bonus deleted scene from Blog #15!

Tuesday, June 12, 2007
Thanks to everyone who watched our video tour diary thing.  Our last show of the tour was June 10th, 2007, in Olympia, WA.  A bunch of our friends made the trek from Seattle to welcome us back.

This last post is not about that show.  In fact, it was recorded before that show happened.

Ignore the dedications in the end of the video.  It's actually dedicated to everyone who took the time to watch any of our video blogs.

See you all soon.
