America's experiencing a critical shortage of nurses and this spells danger to you and me as consumers of medical care.

Especially me as I have a few chronic illnesses that have required hospital stays from time to time, including dialysis in the past. What would I do without nurses.

Specifically, qualified nurses? They ARE, men or women, worth their weight in gold.

Take a look at this video here about the need for nurses which some hospitals in the U.S. are providing internships for, just like young med students receive.
