First
off, we want to thank you all once again for an amazing show last
Friday. The energy was insane and it is obvious that the Tampa Bay
Metal Scene is only continuing to grow bigger and stronger every day.
As
of right now, we will be going back into the studio as soon as possible
as well as working on more new material. Curious to see what direction
we go next, we would like to ask you, our friends, family and fans, for
any input you may have. What would you like to hear from Dementia?
Something a little more straight forward metal to mosh to, or even
something focusing more on ambient and atmospheric elements? Let us
know! As always, all of your opinions are respected and much
appreciated.

Attention all film savvy individuals. Dementia will soon be releasing a new track and will be looking for someone to create a video to go along with it. Seeing as this will be a non paying project we are not expecting it to be something mind blowing and full of insane special effects. Basically we would just be looking for something that goes well with the theme (which would be described in full). Not so much something with us even in the video but rather a sort of subliminal imagery/artistic expression that links the viewer to the core of the song itself. If any of this sounds like something that you would be interested in please contact us by messaging the band profile. All credit will be given to this individual as well as the opportunity to build a solid business partnership.

We're coming up on a year since Dementia started playing out which has been in many ways been amazing for us to be able to meet a lot of new people, share the stage with some amazing musicians and share new experiences with this so far short journey that has been Dementia. We want to thank everyone that has shown us support in this last year, we never forget it and appreciate you all helping bring our dream to life, the more you all spread the word for us the harder we'll work to not let our fans down. So thank you.
Although 2009 has started off somewhat slowly for us, there's A lot coming our way!
We're in the studio recording a demo with Mind of Music productions which is Justin Walker from The Hundred Handed's studio, re-recording our songs "Bloodless...Aren't we all" and "Eternal" with him which will be released soon. We're also recording 1 more track entitled "Das Ende" which will be released a bit after those 2 are.
Outside the studio we're working on a lot of new material and are hoping to order more merch. to be able to sell before the summer which is when we're going to be playing out a lot more again.

Dementia is an idea for making music coming from us doing what we love and releasing every demon in life toward our music . Labels for music are not important because there is so much good music out there that none should be labeled as anything!. Music should be played from the heart instead of the brain! . Music is an art . It is a self expression and so much more ,music should be made from that self expression and not to be sold out for money, fame, fortune or anything else. Only for the glory of your own success of self satisfaction, the freedom to make music and to be heard whether it's touched thousands of lives, one life, or just your own life. As long as the music was made from the heart and spirit of yourself and you get your message out to the world through your music, that's what really matters .
We are Dementia.
