On the Positive!

Get Ready as the Natives re-vamp and re-work to bring you some brand new life-affirming reggae vibes from the Burgh.

After a long hiatus, we are officially re-forming to bring to you some new sounds from our grounds as well as some revamps of your favorite songs.

New members, new music, new instruments!

Stay up with us and we will bring it to ya sometime around July/September!

The Natives are excited to announce that they have added a new member to the band- Justin Stearns (Keys)!!!

The search is over- we finally found someone who fits perfectly with our sound and is ready to take off on summer tour with no plans of settling down in the near future.  Meeting Justin was extremely random and unexpected which makes us feel as though we should be ready for anything this summer! We'll be playing almost every day either with a full live set or acoustic set at small coffee shops. We look forward to bringing positive, original & conscious music to you all...

See you at the show!

Peace,

The Natives

Tribe,
The Natives must announce in this blog the member additions and changes to the band.

On Trumpet, keyboards, and vocals, Tribe would like to extend our warmest of welcomes to Mike Pond, of Somers NY.  He will be performing with Tribe to roll out the smoothity and mellowation that tribe is known for.

Two members, Chris Shacklett and Snowy LaJoie have chosen life beyond Natives, and we wish to them the absolute very best in their endeavours.
We know great things will come to both of them, and will miss them when dubbing out the music that has been so important to our lives.

Good luck to the both of you!
Love and Respect,
Tribe-n-I

We must send our greatest thanks to all the great people that made our last show a blast.  Some quick shout outs go to:

Norma, Nicole and TJ of Maggie's for letting us play WAY past 2 oclock.
Baadass Dude that did a backflip in the middle of the show.
Mothafunkin "baad bwai" Mathias- for being at the show when we begin playing, getting Arrested for not being of a mature enough age to consume inebriating social libations with uniformed officials supervising, coming back to finish shaking it off to our music for the rest of the night, then partying until 5 am  the next morning.  That, is dedication.
Max-for setting up the audio recordng of the show.
Steve and Christian- for being there EVERY show that we have played to date, even when scheduled to work or get arrested.
Lastly, but primarily, to all of tribe that shook the ground with us that night from start to finish.  We cannot thank and bless you enough.  YOU are the reason for music.
Pax et respicio,
Jimi

oh by the way...big fuck*n Jeers: cops who arrested Mathias
