We regret to inform you that we will not be able to participate in Taste Of Chaos International. We have some legal issues that we have to clear up. This is a huge bummer for us and we really wanted to come to your countries and rock your faces off every night. Once we clear up all of our immigration and legal issues, we will jump right on an airplane and give you a show that you will never forget. Make sure you go out and support Rockstar Taste Of Chaos and all of the bands that are playing. Those shows are going to kill! We love each and everyone of you and we will see you soon.

...we thought we'd give you a wrap up of the winners so far in the RTOC local stage competition.

An Evening At Elmwood were the first victors, taking out the poll in Perth.

Next up was 919 in Adelaide, followed by Hiroshima Will Burn who won the hard battle in Melbourne.

Guns For Glory will be taking to the stage in Sydney, and Brisbane's Miacarla were declared Brisbane's winners just a few moments ago...

Last up will be Auckland's vote, which promises to be the most contested of them all. Callista, who were originally named as a finalist, have already won a place on the stage, so replacing them in the vote will be Take The Willing. So far you've all helped two local Australian acts win a spot on the local stage at RTOC in their city.

The winner for Perth is An Evening At Elmwood and the Adelaide band taking to the stage in their city is 919.

Ahhh the moment we've all been waiting for! We've had a record number of entries this year from bands vying for a place on the local stage, and now we have the finalists! The competition was fierce, and we'd like to thank all bands for entering! Below we've listed each band that has made the final in their city, and then below that are the dates voting will be open for each city.

Each week one city will come up for election, so to speak. You'll need to head to frontiertouring.com.au, sign into the Members Area (so if you're not a member already, sign up now!) and you'll be able to submit ONE vote for the band you think is most deserving of a place at RTOC in 2007. Whichever finalist has the most votes at the end of the week will win a spot on the local stage at RTOC if their chosen city. We'll make a blog entry here every week to remind you which city's week it is, and we'll also announce the winner from the last week...how sweet is that?!

Children! The time is upon us once again where it's time to decide which bands will be awarded the opportunity to rock out to their heart's content on the RTOC local stage in 2007. To enter bands should email their MySpace link, details of the tour city they wish to play and contact details to info@frontiertouring.com.au – how easy is that?! All links must be submitted by 11:59PM AEST Monday 9 July 2007 and emails MUST only be submitted by the band, their agent or management. Entries must only be submitted once or the entry may be forfeited! Also, make sure you read the terms and conditions carefully before entering.

A panel of judges will then choose a shortlist of five acts in each tour city. Finalists will be announced by 11:59PM AEST on Monday 16 July, 2007. Voting for each city will take place over the course of a week. This year we've made some changes to the voting system. Voting will ONLY be available via the Members section homepage of frontiertouring.com – that means you'll need to be a member to vote. Members will be allowed one vote each, per tour city. It is free to join as a Frontier Member.

The first cab off the rank will be Perth whose voting will commence at noon AEST on Monday 23 July 2007 and run until 11:59AM AEST Monday 30 July 2007. Then it will be Adelaide the next week, then Melbourne and etc. Each winner will be announced shortly after voting has concluded each week.

Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and on prizes forms part of these terms and conditions of entry to the Competition. By entering the Competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. The Promoter is The Frontier Touring Company of 9 Dundas Lane, Albert Park VIC 3206, Australia ("the Promoter").

3. Entry into the competition (the "Competition") is open to residents of Australia only unless otherwise specified. Employees and their immediate families of the Mushroom Group Of Companies, its agencies and any entities associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter. To enter you must properly complete the Competition entry form. If stated on the Competition entry form, entrants must be over 18 years of age or comply with any other requirements or limitations stated on the Competition entry form.

4. The "Competition Period" begins on the commencement date as stated on the Competition entry form and shall close at 11.59pm AEDST on the closing date as stated on the Competition entry form. Entries will be judged by the Promoter at its premises after the Competition closes and winners notified according to the dates set out in the Competition entry form.

5. Only winners will be notified by email and/or phone according to the details provided on the winning Competition entry form. Winner(s) will also be posted on www.frontiertouring.com. When the winner is notified, he/she may be instructed to contact the Promoter to redeem their prize. The winner(s) must contact the Promoter within 14 days of receiving such notification. Failure to contact the Promoter within this period will deem the winner(s) no longer eligible to receive a prize without further notice.

6. Prize details are set out on the Competition entry form. Where concert or event tickets or participation in any event are the prize or form part of prize the entrant will be bound by the conditions of entry governing the venue(s) in which the concert(s) or event(s) is being held and agrees to follow and respect any direction of the Promoter, their authorised agents and/or the venue.

7. Unless otherwise stipulated in the Competition entry form, accommodation, transfers or transport to and from the concert, event or Prize location and all clothing or equipment of any kind required to enjoy or take part in all or any part of a prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The Promoter will cover no associated costs other than those expressly stipulated in the Competition entry form. Without limiting anything else in these terms any winner is not entitled to any payment or reimbursment of any kind as a result of entering the Competition or enjoying or participating in a prize or prize element.

8. The Promoter has the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in all or part of a prize, if the Promoter deems, at their discretion, that a winner is not in an appropriate physical or mental condition to ensure the safety of the winner or other parties involved, or the Promoter otherwise deems it is not appropriate for the winner to take part in all or part of a prize for any reason. It is a condition of entry of this competition that the winner understands and accepts that the Promoter may require a signed legal release form.

9. Entrants must be a member of www.frontiertouring.com (a "Frontier Member") to submit an online entry. As part of their entry participants may be required to provide personal details, including but not limited to their name, address, postcode, email address and telephone number. Failure to supply stipulated information may forfeit an entry. The Promoter may disclose winning entrants information to parties associated with the competition in accordance with its privacy policy which is available at the above website. By entering the Competition, entrants consent to information they submit being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.

10. Illegible or incomplete entries will be ineligible. Entries are restricted to one per person and any other limits stated in the Competition entry form, including in relation to entering or winning other competitions. Failure to abide by this condition may forfeit previous entries. The Promoter may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process.

11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any changes in Competition dates or dates and/or times for or values of prize components or for any incomplete, late, lost or misdirected entries.

12. In the event that the Promoter postpones or varies the Competition or any elements of the prize it (and any party associated with the Competition) shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage of any kind (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or loss or damage caused by the Promoter's or other party's negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, the postponement or variation of the Competition or prize. Nor will the Promoter or other party be liable for any loss, damage, payment or expense of any kind (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage caused by the Promoter's or other party's negligence) or personal injury or other damage suffered or sustained as a result of the entering, judging, running, cancellation or acceptance, enjoyment or use of the Competition or a Prize element.

13. The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time during the Competition Period to vary, withdraw, postpone or cancel the Competition or any prize including without limitation, in circumstances where, in the Promoter's opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion): (a) no entry satisfies the Competition entry requirements or (b) it cannot conduct the Competition or grant any prize for any other reason beyond its control.

14. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not redeemable for cash, transferable or exchangeable. The Promoter is not liable in any way if a winner cannot receive, accept or use a prize for any reason and the Promoter may award that prize to another winner. Prizes may be cancelled in the Promoter's discretion if a winner attempts to transfer it.

15. The promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). Each entry will be individually judged based on its merit and creativity.

16. All entries become the property of the Promoter and may be used for promotional purposes without notification. The promoter is granted perpetual free license of copyright in the entries.
17. The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and all entrants agree to be bound by and subject to Australian law.

It gives The Frontier Touring Company great pleasure to confirm local band additions to the Rockstar-- Energy Drink Taste Of Chaos tour in 2007. Across Australia hardcore heroes Carpathian will be tearing up each stage as they play before their largest crowds to date. New Zealanders will be treated to the exceptional Antagonist who will bring their brutal hardcore fury to the stage in Auckland.

Carpathian have quickly established themselves as one of Australia's premier hardcore acts. This hard touring band have already covered Australia supporting bands including Evergreen Terrace, Comeback Kid and Bleeding Through as well as headlining their own sold-out tour earlier this year. 2007 has already seen Carpathian take on Europe and the UK with fellow Australians Parkway Drive. Playing Rockstar-- Taste Of Chaos nationally will be the culmination of their hard work thus far.

In the two years since Antagonist's inception they've become one of New Zealand's most respected acts. Awarded support slots for Hatebreed, Unearth, Death By Stereo and Comeback Kid amongst many others, their fan base continues to grow at an unbelievable rate. The release of their debut album These Cities, Our Graves drew critical acclaim and launched Antagonist to a whole new level in 2006. With international plans ahead of them – including Japan, USA, Europe and Australia – Antagonist are set to become one of New Zealand's most successful bands.


LOCAL STAGE BAND COMPETITIONS RETURN IN 2007!

In 2007 the team behind Rockstar-- Taste Of Chaos will continue to support local talent with the Local Stage in each tour city. The local stage allows our home-grown talent to showcase what they do best before thousands in their hometown. There will be three opportunities for bands to win a place on the local stage in their city.

OPPORTUNITY ONE
One local state spot in each city will be determined through a public vote on the Frontier Touring website. Bands will be asked to submit their MySpace links to myspace.com/tasteofchaosdownunder. From there a panel of industry judges will choose a shortlist of five acts in each tour city. Finalists will be announced and notified and then the voice of Australia and New Zealand's youth will take over as voting opens through frontiertouring.com! Entry details will be available from Monday 4 June.

OPPORTUNITY TWO
As in 2006, Ernie Ball will be offering the opportunity for a band to play the local stage in each city. Keep an eye on their website www.battleofthebands.com for further details.

OPPORTUNITY THREE - AUSTRALIA
In Australia, the third opportunity for bands to enter will be made available through national radio network triple j, who are well known for their support of upcoming local talent. Stay tuned to triple j for details on how you could be their RTOC Unearthed winner in each tour city!

OPPORTUNITY THREE – NEW ZEALAND
For New Zealand bands the third spot will be chosen by C4. C4 has the opportunity for one New Zealand band to grace the stage at Rockstar-- Taste Of Chaos this October. Bands should send their demo CD (featuring at least 3 songs), along with a biography and photo by August 27 to:

Hey troops

So we had a bit of a Myspace meltdown but all is sorted and we're back! 

Things are moving forward for RTOC 07 and we've been checking out all your lineup suggestions, so thanks for taking the time to drop us your thoughts.

There should be a lineup announcement in the next month or so, so stay tuned.

In the meantime we can share the exciting news (if you haven't already heard) that TOC 05 headliners The Used are heading back to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for their most intimate shows to date.  And before you jump up and down yes we know these are small venues for such a big band - but hey, the band want to rock a small venue - and if you're one of the lucky few, you're not going to complain are you !  Oh - and the shows are all ages (of course!).  For more info on the tour and dates click here.

Pre-sale tickets are available through the Frontier Members Area .  The pre-sale kicks off at noon AEDST Thursday 15 March and ends at noon AEDST Friday 16 March or when the pre-sale allocation is exhausted.
