Current mood:  impressed
Fire and Ice sprung a guerilla Burlesque attack on Hampshire College this Thursday with a pre-Halloween show of epic proportions.  Thanks again to everyone who came out to support us.  This was quite possibly our best show yet, and we couldn't have pulled it off without the unwavering support of our friends, family, and fans.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Current mood:  excited
This Saturday, March 31st, Fire and Ice will be performing our BIG BIG BIG spring show with our TOP SECRET show "theme."

Our expected audience will likely be even bigger than it was the last time, so if you plan to show up, show up EARLY...if you show up on time, you'll likely be too late.  The show will begin at 9pm (Hampshire College), and as promised, we are bringing you a spectacular show for FREE.

With that said, we are asking for a donation of $2 at the door.  All proceeds will go directly to the Metropolitan Battered Women's Shelter in New Orleans.

The Subject line says it all.  Due to scheduling conflicts, the date of our show has been pushed back to the last weekend in March.  The date will likely be the 31st, although this is not set in stone.

Keep checking back for updates!

Hi all. The date for our next show is set! Fire and Ice will be performing at Hampshire College on Saturday, March 10.

Tickets will likely go on sale a week before show and should be cheap, cheap, cheap (we believe in nudity for the people).

The theme of the show is top secret, but feel free to contact me for more info about the time, location, etc.

For those of you who couldn't make it to the first show, I can't even begin to describe just how incredibly awesome our onstage debut turned out.

We went over the maximum capacity allowed in our performance space (150 people) and had to turn people away when the doors opened at 9pm.  There were over 80 people sitting on the lawn outside watching the show through a window.

I want to thank everyone who came out to support us.  We had a lot of fun putting this show together in a very short period of time - This might have been the first, but it certainly isn't the last.

The gears are already in motion for our next performance this spring.  In the meantime, it's your job to keep spreading the word!

Our first show is exactly one week away and we're definitely feeling the anticipation/excitement/pressure...

If I'm allowed to be slightly presumptuous, I'm going to say that it's going to be fucking great.

The show will go down in the sexy back room of the SAGA dining commons at Hampshire College (get ready for some table dancing) at 9pm on November 11th (next Saturday!).

We'll be selling a DVD of the performance for all of you out-of-towners who won't be able to make it AND to anyone who loved it so much that they can't help but watch it again.  If you're interested in snagging a copy send me a message and I'll send one your way.

Love and pasties,
Ginger Snap

It looks like our first projected show date will be November 10th, so spread the word!

We still need to find a performance space, but minor details such as this are mere formalities, right?

I'm going to post a list of our troupe members as soon as we have a "set" group of dedicated ladies and gents.  This has been a slow, steady process, but slow and steady wins the race.

Much love,
Ginger Snap

Posters are up and the ball is rolling... (yeahyeah!)

I've gotten a lot of offers from people willing to do behind the scenes/tech work, which is great, because there always seems to be a scramble to find a photographer, makeup person, sound op, etc. at the last minute.

I plan on scheduling an official interest meeting and doing some unofficial interviews before the end of this month.

As always, thanks for all the support.

Less than a week until my return to Massachusetts and I'm getting so fucking pumped.

Within 24 hours of being back, there will be recruitment posters up all around town.  This is a total shot in the dark, but if even ten girls respond, we'll be good to go.

Much love,
