GO! MUSIC & BAROEG PRESENT:

On 20-03-2010 Go! Music & Baroeg present: [We Are] The Noise Generation II.

[We Are] The Noise Generation is the Baroeg event for hard Industrial, Rhythmic Noise, Breakcore, Power Noise, Tekno and Darkcore. This night will be merged together to a solid whole by a strong DJ team. Also after the live acts the party will go on with heavy beats and walls of noise!

Last year on stage on the first edition of W.A.T.N.G acts as Asche, 100Blumen, Terrorfakt, Punch Inc. and Imminent gave great live shows. Now Go! Music & Baroeg present: KLANGSTABIL, TWINKLE, MONO-AMINE & MILITIA!

Klangstabil [.de]
http://www.klangstabil.com
http://www.myspace.com/klangstabil

Klangstabil is not a unknown name. Who doesn’t know their song “Vertraut”? or “Kill All Lifeforms”, “Push Yourself” or, from their most recent masterpiece “Math & Emotion”, “Love Has Too Much Audience”? . Klangstabil is outstanding in their intense, powerful and emotional live performances. With these, they have managed to convince many people and carry them along in their intelligent music with deep themes and intense vocals. Who witnessed their performance on the Summer Darkness Industrial Night of last year will surely remember this.

A short bio:
“klangstabil was founded in 1994 by maurizio blanco and boris may. maurizio blanco and boris may met in 1994. before then, maurizio blanco had already spent most of his life experimenting with electronic music and expressing his own ideas, however boris may had only been listening to music up to that point in time. both of them soon realised that they were communicating on the same level. soon, a new vision was formed: to make people see music in a different way by employing new techniques and ideas. the name, klangstabil, more or less came off the top of their heads, but it fit quite well for both of them. they started producing without ever having the intention of having anything released; in their opinion, they were merely researching personal expression. their main inspiration was and is still kraftwerk. not after long, they were performing in small live-acts which resulted in a record-label showing interest in them. their first production was released on vinyl, and you can expect to see more of the same in the future.

klangstabil's work ethic can be accurately defined as: one step back, two steps forward. with this attitude, klangstabil is creating their own niche by taking principal elements of the very beginning of electronic music and relating these elements to the modern times today. in order to understand what surrounds us day by day, one has to see things from the perspective of creation. as more progress is made, more questions arise. to put it simply: how does a tune get created, what is its meaning and what is its sound there for? in order to understand, one has to go and live through the decades of a wide musical spectrum. klangstabil continues to give an acoustic answer to the question: "what's next?”

Now on 20-03-2010 live on stage in Baroeg: Klangstabil.

Twinkle [.fr]
http://www.myspace.com/twinkleaudiotrauma

Twinkle’s musical residence is the French record label Audiotrauma. Last September he performed live on its major festival, Noxious Art Festival, in Paris. Yet before Twinkle was already in the spotlights on festivals like Maschinenfest and Elektroanschlag. In the Netherlands you may remember their great show November 2007 in Waterfront on Cenobytes – Project Blackout II. Twinkle has a fresh and original sound that combines Electro, Breaks and Industrial. Inspired by bands like Synapscape, Imminent, Flint Glass, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Nine Inch Nails, Alec Empire and Velvet Acid Christ, you may get an idea of what to expect!

They describe their last album (released on Ant-Zen and Audiotrauma) in their own words:

“le jouet (the toy) explores the different aspects of 'toys': the pretend innocence of a real toy like barbie, human beings who use toys for specific role playing and deadly weapons used like toys by grown ups who can never negate the children they once were.le jouet's music is a unique blend of hard hitting ultra distorted rhythms/beats constructed to stir up your brain and (probably) force you to dance. psychotic, twisted & tribal rhythmic noise is overlayed with unpretentious melodies and enriched with pushing vocals (complimented by a tremendous selection of samples). music that is complex, challenging and body oriented all at the same time. twinkle has established a style that is between contemporary industrial, experimental soundscapes and intelligent usage of metric varieties. let the game begin...”

Mono-Amine [.nl]
http://www.myspace.com/monoamine

Our Dutch pride from industrial soil! Who was there on Maschinenfest and witnessed Mono-Amine’s possible international breakthrough last October in Essen, might now just be able to hear a bit normal again now all the ear noise from that performance has died. The debut of Mono-Amine on Maschinenfest was a blast!

Already early on the day he managed to move the Maschinenfest crowd, of which most were barely awake from the day before, into a steaming climax! Before 20:00 the roof was shaking. Actually, this is not such a big surprise because who already knows Mono-Amine knows better. This is one of his trade-marks!
So come and experience his set in Baroeg where he will do again what he does best!

Just a few weeks ago Mono-Amine’s long awaited 2nd full length CD “Like A Machine” came out on Vendetta music. Again a rock solid album, a guaranteed ear- and brain crushing sound experience. This is what Mono-Amine has to say about his new album:

"Like A Machine is a distorted, hard-driving, layered, uplifting, intense, and adventurous, mind-f**king set of tracks with the original Mono-Amine sound. The tracks were on one hand born out of the discontent that average human behavior has grown to the level of a bunch of f**king sheep, and that our systems goals are just about retaining power and forcing the people to think like preprogrammed machines. On the other hand, 'Like A Machine' is aimed to make you dance, lose your mind and bring some joy to the minds of the few who appreciate this kind of electronic warfare. Most of the tracks are long and deep, the title song is even over 16 minutes, and I've got one message to the DJ's who think this is too much; Learn to beat-match and mix the F**ker!”

Militia [.be]
http://www.discogs.com/artist/Militia+%282%29

Militia is a Belgian industrial percussion band. It was founded in 1989 by the multi-instrumentalist Frank Gorissen and wind instrument player Jo Billen and now 6 musicians are involved. The band is known for its use of self made percussion and wind instruments and the scrap material they transform into musical instruments. The band's music is often inspired by the anarchic and atheist social views and their concern about our natural environment, themes that can be found in most of their lyrics and statements.

The music of Militia can best be described as powerful rhythmic industrial and experimental music. Their sounds are generated from mostly self-made percussion instruments, using metal objects, scrap material, parts from machines, metal plates and tubes, empty gas containers, oil barrels, conventional drums, timpani and wind instruments and even a full metal radiator; with full equipment deployed, the stage has the appearance of a construction site.

After the acts the We Are The Noise Generation after party will start. DJs DavidK, CNFSD & DistortedChaos will serve you a blend of hard, raging and intense music with solid beats to move on until the end of the night!

Behind you the door slams shut. locked. before your eyes a staircase descends into a dimly lit corridor. at the very end a door looks to stand ajar. a flickering light beckons. the air is stale. cautiously you make your way down, moving towards the light at the end of the passage way. from the room behind the massive steel, sounds erupt. dazzling volumes push drones and screeching noises, sometimes with jarring screams, through the walls. In the room hospital like drapes hang from hooks. tables are filled with ominous looking instruments. an unsuspected gust of wind pushes the door closed. the single light bulb flickers and strains to remain on. and then all is pitch black and all of a sudden. as your eyes try to adjust to the instant darkness, your ear drums are pummelled with scraping noise sounds, like a machine coming to life in close proximity...

The seventh edition of noise central festival follows hot on the heels of two recent festivals: the first being one smashing long day, afternoon, evening and night at the summer darkness festival; the second, and most recent, in 013 venue, tilburg, featuring: esa, detritus, fractional and tapage. Back at its home base in utrecht, noise central festival raises the bar and pushes the boundaries with one of the most demanding, trying and testing line-ups ever.

Co-produced by amsterdam's al-noisia (known from the destruction alpha & beta nights in occii) and the SJU venue, halcyon presents: noise central festival VII, featuring: harsh noise, experimental industrial, dark ambient and above all: the finest in power electronics. Prepare yourself for an afternoon and night of noise, sure to resonate in your ears, mind, soul and body for quite some time. Follow the corridor towards the flickering light and you're in for a true and powerful noise surprise!

NCF VII featuring live:

IRM [swe]

This headlining threesome deals in some of the most harsh power electronics and industrial sounds known. Desolation now: in subtle droning frenzy and smothering beauty in gritty vocals, oppressive soundscape-cascades and obstinate obsession. Bleaker than your very worst of nightmarish dreams. Cathartic sonic revelations of the most desirable sort. You know you want to escape; you know you don't and can't; so is the beauty of violence, the violence of beauty: so is IRM. Cold and lonely, irreligious and dark droning. IRM masters the sonic equivalent of bacon's infamous paintings; scenes of a crucifixion and way beyond. A bleeding wound oozing and pulsating, flowering like you might never have thought to hear.

It's with great pride noise central festival can announce this Swedish power electronics and industrial three-piece master act, with releases out on cold meat industry, segerhuva and annihilvs (helmed by navicon torture technologies’ man leech) during its tenth year anniversary, as the headliner of the seventh edition. For noise central festival IRM will bring a set based on the upcoming album ‘Order 4’ for the first time outside of Sweden!

-----------------------

Wertham [ita]

Formed in 1995, Wertham has been playing with stereotypes and (mis)conceptions on themes such as: sex, race, class et cetera. Immersed in a massive and calculated sound piercing right through body and mind, Wertham's power electronic and industrial sound blasts paint human landscapes based on first hand experiences. Needless to say, these might very well not always be the brightest of experiences, nor the most merry. Basically this is the sound of a self-abusing teenage girl. The sound of hunger. Of two hugging muscle bears or an iron winged butterfly. Here: chains are hanging from the ceiling. Here you feel self induced skin rash. See: a beheaded Rastafarian. irreversible. Wertham tries and tests. All words and lyrics should be interpreted as a real life diary which paints human landscapes describing domestic violence, white trash mentality, ghetto culture and street life in general

Marco Deplano (also known from foresta di ferro) delivered the first full length as his solo project wertham with 'memories from the pigsty' (on tesco). This is a full frontal power electronics and industrial music sonic assault filled with a plethora of samples and very aggressive vocals. His personal long overdue manifesto, now live on stage at the noise central festival!

-----------------------

Einleitungszeit [svk]

For over 14 years this Slovak band has moved towards a pure and ultimate death-industrial sound with quite a cult reputation. Not in the least part because of the amazing and often shocking live performances. Just check out some of the examples on YouTube or their website. Intense in both sound and performance this act gives its very all and total dedication in pure industrial noise. Destruction turned into ecstasy?
Also check their CDs which are known for their special packaging using cardboard and wires, metal casings and stuff like that.

Einleitungszeit brings a totally absorbing sound; clear yet stunningly powerful to noise central festival. The embodiment of human alienation, transmitted by next-century's cyber-apostles of the death-industrial cult, for hybrids and clones of the future and as an early reminder here and now for us mere weakling human beings.

-----------------------

feine trinkers bei pinkels daheim [ger]

At this year's maschinenfest, j. eberhard's f.t.b.p.d. opened the sunday line-up with a set of experimental electronics and noise. Full of experimentation and improvisation, he moved along his red current of electronic and acoustic sounds and noises, distortions and delays; his ebb and flow of noise currents of  found objects and of found sounds or noises. His ethos lies with tape trading, punk an DIY. His heart, so it seems, bears connection to for example: einstürzende neubauten.

His art is pure craft, by hand; by going out, looking for, finding, putting together, ripping apart, letting loose and re-assembling. Controlled anarchy? Music-concrete having one of its finest moments? Punk in the electronic-noise-industrial genre? Since 1994 releases have been far and few in between. Live shows have been aplenty. The release titles might be somewhat 'strange'. same goes for the band name or a record sleeve made out of paper soaked in urine. Nonetheless, with live skills honed in many years of touring and proudly bearing the mark of 'one of the most special maschinenfest 2009 live performances' on his sleeve, j. eberhard will delight noise central festival with an eclectic yet totally engaging live set. It's quite a mouthful, but, having witnessed this set, you'll be hard-pressed to ever again, forget the name: feine trinkers bei pinkels daheim .

-----------------------

TZII [bel]

Having worked with people from sun-ra arkestra, the stooges, otto von schirach and also 1997ev, flutwacht, stalker et al., tzii's motto reads: 'let's meet you behind that corner!!!'... Expect: magical frequencies for occult goats; or: deep dark ambient and drones, extreme frequency manipulation, expertly executed sub-bass rumbles and frightful atmospheres. Kling-klang sounds, clunking metal, screeching noise like finger-nails against a blackboard. Ambient undertones, industrial visions. Experimental performance. Organic and individual moving towards electronic and collective... the inner and outer world merging, yet fighting for dominance. Not overtly but only in the listener. Sounds full of air and space and nocturnal splendour collide with sounds moving in, closing in on you and transmitting: claustrophobia. indeed: you just never know what's behind the corner. Meet tzii exactly there and he'll guide you along the twists and turns of many a corner in tzii's netherworld of sonic pitch black darkness between capture and release. Between the soothing embrace in total darkness and of being let loose in freedom to roam the blackness on your very own.

-----------------------

odal [nld]

Born from the cassette and tape trading and label age, odal manages the tape label STRONT (shit). He's also active in the infamous Dutch extreme noise act fckn'bstards. Peter - odal - zincken has produced under numerous names and guises for many years. Think: experimental extreme noise from the most depraved of sonic states. Think: merzbow or vomir and way beyond. Think: the sonic equivalent of klysma. soul-cleansing sonic annihilation to some.
Pure sonic terror to others. Nihil is very close. Pure experimental noise improvisation may never gotten closer to its very core. Question any authority. Shit your pants or immerse yourself voluntarily. Odal might just be the most noisy of noise acts the noise central festival has ever featured. Beyond odal, there's only silence? or can sound get even more extreme? wait and see; wait and hear…

In between and around the live acts DJ DistortedChaos will team up with DJ Silken Tofu from Belgium to merge this whole noise experience to one solid journey of nastiness.

Category: Parties and Nightlife

Dwaalspoor, the party in The Netherlands for Neofolk, Martial, Industrial, Darkambient and Militarypop now exists for almost 7 years, as a frequently returning dance night but also in extended editions. Over the year the party became more and more successful. Thanks to the increasing number of visitors many different and exiting bands have played live on the Dwaalspoor party in the Netherlands. You can think of things like: "Cawatana, Foresta di Ferro, Die Weisse Rose, Naevus, Roma Amor, Sephiroth, Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, Arcana, :Of The Wand And The Moon:, Volksweerbaarheid, Sturmast".

Over the past few months we've been working on a new special edition a bit to celebrate the success of these past years and because now the time is there for something even bigger!

On November the 14th 2009 we present you the first Dwaalspoor Festival edition. Five different live bands from the different musical backgrounds we normally cover will perform. There will be merchandise stands from the bands, the M'allochio CD stand, a clothing stand from Sturmbachz and a special stand from the Cold Spring label.

After the bands Dwaalspoor goes on with our regular after-party till 04:00. DJs DistortedChaos & Nicole + DJ Marcel P. will serve you the music and are willing to take your musical requests during the evening.

Live we present you: DER BLAUE REITER, KRIEGSFALL-U, JANNERWEIN, DER FEUERKREINER, SATORI.

Der Blaue Reiter (ES)

Atmospheric ambient with haunting industrial samples, accompanied by the sounds of martial drums: …music for the end of the world!

This bands consists of Sathorys Elenorth (for vocals, guitar, keyboard, percussion and piano) and Lady Nott (for vocals, violin and percussion).  Both of them are also known from other projects; Narsilion, Lugburz, Ordo Funebris and Endless Asylum. Especially for Dwaalspoor festival Thomas Bojden (Die Weisse Rose) will join in on percussion!

Der Blaue Reiter returns with a third full album called NUCLEAR SUN, where each of the compositions are impregnated with powerful percussions and majestic neo classical passages full of pain and sadness. This new music chapter is inspired by one of the greatest nuclear disasters of our times: The disaster of Chernobyl. "You can feel the crying of our past, the legacy of humanity behind the desolation of the ghost town of Pripyat... where dreams are just a legend and death is the darkest reality... A perfect soundtrack that offers a homage to all victims that fell under the sky of "Nuclear Sun".

Kriegsfall-U (HU)

The beating of drums, the clash of swords, the noise of marching boots, the murmur of prayers ...

Kriegsfall-U describes itself as: “Sacral post-industrial from Hungary with heroic, religious and philosophical influences without compromise. In the Blood of Heroes of Love and Fear. Purity and Justice against the Wane and Impurity. Beat the Beast!”

The name Kriegsfall-U has been borrowed from a militaristic plan from king Franz Joseph I, king of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy at the turn of 20th century. “Democratic decay” and riots started to overrun the monarchy. King Franz Joseph I devised plans to restore the authority and order of the monarchy: the part of the plan that needed militaristic assistance was called Kriegsfall-U. Due to several circumstances this plan failed to fulfill it’s purpose and ended in the disintegration of the 1000 year old monarchy.

Kriegsfall-U brings back memory of those heroic times in the past of Central Europe, when kings ruled with the sword and a strong spirit.
All these elements you can find in the sound of the band: the martial drumming, old samples and the sometimes aggressive powerful voice. Or sometimes a calm, rhythmic sound with a reciting voice. The band has some interesting releases at Cold Spring label: including a self-titled debut in 2005 up, contributions to several samplers and projects, and a split 7’’ with Wappenbund.

JANNERWEIN (AT)

Jännerwein takes both the classical neofolk genre and the mainly central-European folklore, and combines it in their very unique way. They create an audible image breathing the melancholic atmosphere of the alpine mountains, lakes and forests they are surrounded by from childhood. The main characteristics of their very organic, fluid sound is the use of numerous traditional instruments, such as bouzouki, hurdy-gurdy, flute, violin and accordion beyond the central elements of guitar, bass and percussion. Concerning lyrics this Salzburg foursome is often inspired by the romanticism's central subjects of search, nature and human affectivity.

Jännerwein is relatively new as a band, but their first cd Abendlauten (Heimatfolk/Steinklang) made a very positive impression right after it’s release in 2008. The sound is to be compared with bands like Forseti, Orplid and Dies Natalis.

Der Feuerkreiner (IT)

Der Feuerkreiner was founded in 2000 in Recanati, by Federico Flamini and Valentina Castellani. They had a common interest in mixing and joining their past musical experiences: Federico and his electronic experiments under the Kunst Mork and Commotus Ingenio nicknames; Valentina as a student for polyphonic songs with Giuliano Viabile.

Der Feuerkreiner’s exhibitions are supported by videos aimed to capture the audience attention into series of images.
Hailing from Italy, this remarkable duo has been working hard since their 2004 Neuropa release 'La 'Nvidia'. Valentina and Federico appeared as Der Feuerkreiner on many festivals & concerts around Europe, each time gathering more & more fans with every concert they played. Today they proudly present you their first full-length album on Neuropa Records: 'Unsere Zeit'. The album consists of 9 newly recorded tracks over viewing the many facets of the band: from tranquil & heavenly voices to brutal & pounding rhythms.
Other interesting releases: a split 7’’ with Cawatana called “63 days” and contributions to the well known “Neo Form II” and “ Wir Rufen deine Wölfe” compilations.

Online:
http://www.myspace.com/derfeuerkreiner

Satori (UK)

Satori have re-emerged, after years of silence since the live release on Tesco (Germany) in 1995. 2007 saw the ..KANASHIBARI.. album greeted with amazing reviews, a Euro tour, a Japanese tour, and an EP CD ..Contemptus Mundi.. recorded with Magus Peter H Gilmore, head of The Church Of Satan, providing vocals, again to much critical acclaim. Their unique blend of dark ambient, rhythms and ..Fortean Electronics.. (much of the sounds employed are recordings of ghost activity, UFOs, occult phenomena, secret military ventures, etc).

Keywords for Satori are: industrial, electronics and experimental. The band consist of Justin Mitchell (Cold Spring boss) and Neil Chaney (Pessary). "Kanashibari" is the Japanese term for sleep paralysis (literally "bound or fastened in metal"). The album explores this phenomena, manipulating Fortean sounds and deep dark ambiance. Another interesting release is the split-cd with Sutcliffe Jügend and Merzbow in april 2008.

The new album, ..Black Helicopters.. is being recorded right now, ready for release and tour in 2010.
