Hello guys, its been a while since I did this.  Lets see, we are still making our record, actually going down this weekend to F Burg to lay down some more guitar tracks, and hopefully have a good night friday.  We are then coming back up after a day session to play at TT Reynolds final Saturday show!!!  Brian from EBP was awesome, and got us on the bill last minute.  We are very thankful to him and the rest of EBP for helping us out over the years.  Please do what you can and get out to TT's this Saturday, its the last time you can!!!  So... August is right around the corner, my brithday one year older, ugh.   But we do have lots of recording and gigs set up so please check out our shows and hopefully we will see you there!!  It all starts at O'sullivans for our monthly gig on August 1st!!!!

Take care and see you Saturday!!!

Jeffy queer Cockayne asked me to put them up, so here ya go buddy:

It's 6am and

I'm woken up by devils playing games again

With the angels above my head

You unconsciously turn away

From my ever so often efforts

To draw you in, to keep you here,

And erase this line/lying across our bed.

I'm losing you once again

The clouded dust of dissonance finally

Settled in; it's camouflaged your skin

Your movements are hard to trace

As you glide so naturally around

The bullets I fire, to murder your desire

To leave because I've given in

(Chorus):

Nothing ever turns out quite like you want it

as your fears imposed all the paths you chose, yeah

But sooner or later you'll get what you needed

If you'd only give this away…

A result of panic

Diversion from pain

With this useless discourse

Inhibiting change

All focus (gone)

Passion (lost)

Love's disappeared

Yet all I want is to keep you near

(Chorus)

Days pass without resolution

Abandon without restitution

Drowning just to keep you breathing in

My life.

(Chorus)

Has anything turned out just how you wanted

Have your fears exposed your decision to walk alone

And I've finally accepted this is what you've needed

Now I'm ready to give this away…

Give you away.

Hi all,

Last year while I was in a drunken stupor at around 3am one Saturday night, a friend of mine decided to show me a dvd of this guitarist named Trace Bundy.  The dvd started playing, and this relatively shy-looking dude came out to massive applause, carrying a single guitar.  He sat down, quickly introduced himself, and started playing his first song.  Within thirty seconds of watching Trace play and listening to his guitar sing, I could have sworn I'd sobered up completely from the fact that I was entranced by his talent.  Trace has a serious gift that few people ever receive in life.  His playing style is revolutionary within the music industry.  Trace is a pioneer in the art of acoustic guitar.  And he's only getting started.  Trust me.  If you want to see for yourself, go to www.tracebundy.com or to his myspace page www.myspace.com/tracebundy to witness his enviable and incredible talent.

Ryan and I have the privilege of opening up for Trace on Wednesday, May 23rd at the Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA (www.jamminjava.com).  So, if you're up for an amazing night of acoustic music, come on out to Jammin' Java next Wednesday!

--Liam

Go to Jammin' Java's website for tickets and directions--10 bucks for advanced tickets, 12 bucks at the door.

hey guys, just getting ready to head down to fred vegas for graduation weekend for the eagles.  This should  be a hell of a time as always for everyone involved.  We play outside at Wings on the Water, one of our favorite bars besides when is rains.  Then we have a couple shows in DC to get us ready for the big Throwdown Festival on Sunday the 27th.  Man are we excited for this all day music festival.  Thanks to the guys from Locals Only Radio for putting this festival together and supporting the local music scene.  We are excited to see our friends Fools and Horses again, its been a while since the Bourbon Street days!!  And of course our friends welbilt, ebp, theblackjacks, shane gamble, and justin trawick.  We are also really excited to see some of these local bands we have not gotten the chance to see or hear.  The Dreamscapes Project, Jackie Gino, Ballyhoo, and many others.  We have tickets for this event, so please contact us and we will try to get some to you.

And if you want me, I'm here for your taking
And if you need me, you know where I can be found
And if you love me, why can't you convey it
'Cause I've been waiting (forever) for you...

You controlled my heart for longer than I thought I could bear
You spun me around and around those curls in your hair
Now I'm hopeless and damaged from the war inside your heart
To commit to what is perfect, or just tear it all apart

(chorus)--And I'm just significant enough to be insignificant to you.

Now it's one day and I'm devastated, too tired to eat or sleep, just drink
Two weeks and I'm blending colors of memories I try not to think
Three months and the colors have faded, I cry to resurrect them to life
One year and forever jaded is the dream of holding your hand as my wife

(pre chorus)--Come back to me

(chorus followed by pre chorus)

(bridge)--And I need to know your intentions, your thoughts, your uncertainties
For me to give in and repair the damage...

Now I can't sleep in my empty bed where the ghost of you resides to my left
Take a pill, take a drink, close my eyes just to dream your whispers on my neck
I'm not asking you to make decisions, I'm asking you to not say goodbye
All I want is one simple answer--Tell me that you'll try.  Slow.  Try.

The ghost of you still follows me.

Ok, so I hope this helps out guys here are the lyrics to our song disclosure that we have a video for. Let us know what you think!!

I've had it once or twice the second better than the first things went awry, I went away and not ready to try anything more than a one or five night dance. But to have it again would feel unreal just to taste or kiss or touch with that passion that you see everyday in a movie script theme.

Dont wanna leave your sight theme, dont wanna sleep by myself theme, dont wanna leave like this, I will do anything, I'll say anything.

I won't let you down, and I Hope to God that I'll find you here when you're around.

But what take away from this is that I was in naive bliss I never tried to hide it or fight the fact that I was forcing the feelings you simply didn't have for me.

You wanted time away from me, you said you needed some room to breathe, we can't waste love like this I'll do anything I'll say anything

I wont let you down, and I hope to God that I find you here when you're around.

You're falling to peices but I'll pick you up. Late night talking about whats to come. The details are hazy but I understand. You won't be second best.

I wont let you down, and I hope to God that I'll find you here when you're around.

To me that five night dance sounds perfect.
