As the title of this post says... I´m going to Paris for a few days, but Shhhh, it is a secret, I´m going to visit museums and have some interviews with galleries.

Wish me good luck, this is something I always desired, my first time in Paris!.

This Friday 13th you could watch me again on tv, newly interviewed by Ricardo Rocha & Paty Llaca at the wonderful mexican late night show "Animal Nocturno".

The date will be this Friday 13th at Midnight, only at Azteca 13.

I´ll be there for talking about my new solo show "VINILO", also a few surprises, like my new silkscreens about Horacio Franco, inspired by the artwork of Andy Warhol (you remember the project that he did with Mick Jagger?, well, I made something like that) and my next solo shows in Los Angeles, and New York.

I am really excited , in a few days will be the great opening of my eleventh solo show "VINILO" ("Vinyl"). This will be the first time that I show so many paintings, it will be a great experience, I hope I could learn a lot of this, maybe this could be the beginning of something great.

I will show some vinyl paintings from my series "Los Sentimientos" ("The Feelings") and "Gusanos" ("Worms"). I´ve exposed those last paintings in New York City at the "9th Annual Mermaid Show", this will be the first time that my friends from Mexico City will see them on exhibition.

You don´t know how much I love you, ´cause you are great and really special for me. Right now I am preparing for my travel to New York City, I´ll expose my artwork at the 9th ANNUAL MERMAID SHOW in the Sideshow Gallery in Brooklyn... It is a group show, but it could be the beginning of something bigger and better for my career, my artist career.

I truly enjoyed the experience of appear in such an important Late Night Show as "Animal Nocturno" is. I really admire Ricardo Rocha, the host, since I was a little child. The co-host Patricia Llaca was wonderful too, after the show she invited me clubbing, isn´t it great?.

This was not my first time on tv, I made some presentations at "Ahora toca" music show (it was for cable tv), but this my first time in open television, coast to coast, you could imagine how scared I was!!!!. LOL.

All my pals could watch me there, it was an amazing event. Some of them taped the interview, so in a few days I could edit it and show you via this MySpace site. Don´t you like the idea?.

Hi everyone!

The paintings that I am working on (for the "Mermaid Show" in NYC) are part of my newest series "Worms". In the first oportunity after I finish the paintings (it are big! 3 x 1 meters - 9.84 x 3.28 inches -) I´ll show some pictures of it. I am planning to make a press conference to introduce my new paintings to the mexican press, you know, always looking for the picture!.
