Last night was the first night back in the studio.  We did some preliminary mixing trying to find some of the sounds we hope to achieve as well as map out a plan to get the rest of it done.  Andy will be tracking drums the first weekend in April, and we'll be finishing up some of the tracks with bass and vocals in the next couple weeks.

We're hoping to have a new song finished for one of our upcoming shows.  We're not going to rush it, but we are excited to get some new material added to our set.

Also, we're hoping to have some video of some of the goings on in the studio, so keep your eyes out for that.

It's about time to get back into the studio and finish the album.  Plans are to pick up recording towards the second half of March.  Some new material has been put together and will hopefully be in the pre-production stage here really soon.  Once we get a few more tracks finalized we might post a new one.  Once the process gets underway again we'll keep you updated.

We've got two more shows coming up, both with Iron Vein and Karma's Danger.  The first is this Saturday at Penny Road and the second is on April 11th at Sylvie's Lounge in Chicago.  We've got some other stuff in the works too and we'll let you know once those take hold and become solid.

Well so far our EP has generated some interest in the full album which we are still working on.  We actually haven't been in the studio in the past month or two.  We've been trying to push our EP, demo songs and play some shows to help fund the record.  Just like everything else it's been slow, but we'll be back to recording very soon.  Trust us, we want the album done just as much as you do.

The shows are only getting better and we've recently hooked up with the band Iron Vein.  We'll be at Penny Road Pub on the Underground Stage on Saturday, March 7th.  If you can make it, be sure to come check it out, it will be a good one.

So just to keep everyone abreast....nice...we are still working on our album, actually writing some new material to help round out the record.  Hopefully we can demo some of those songs to listeners soon.

We're starting off 2009 with two great shows, first on Friday, January 2nd at Elbo Room in Chicago.  It's an all day event starting around noon and lasting until midnight or beyond.  We go on at 9:45 pm, if you can make it, it's going to be a great show.  The second show is the following Friday, January 9th and for that show we're heading back to Mad Maggies and playing with Regretting Wednesday, which is a new band out of St. Charles, and also A Friend Called Fire.  That show starts at 10 pm, and we're on at 11 pm.  Mad Maggies is a cool place and is an all around great venue and that show is going to rock.  We're trying to pack the place, which has 3 levels (2 of which has a view of the stage) so that would be a lot of people.  Both shows are 21+, so if you can make it out...
