Just found out I got a song in the new Tyler Perry flick "Madea Goes To Jail"!!! It's a song called "What Would You Say" and actually it's the 1st song I wrote in NYC 3 years ago. I never really perform it but I'll post it for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

Last week I got to hang out with 20 great teens from NYC. When the R.A.P.P. summer camp came to my studio and got a crash course in recording. My producer "Ming" showed them his side of the game and I showed them mine. We even wrote and recorded an impromptu song, which was great because there was actually some real talent in the group. Everybody got a chance to get on the mic and shine. We even had a few perfectionists like myself who still weren't satisfied when the left and kept wanting to make the song better. As soon as the song is mixed we will send it out to each of them to post on their myspace page. Working with kids is the best. Big Mike loves the kids!

Hey folks your boy is back again and I'm on the grind. This fall is going to be a hustle. I'll be doing showcases from New York to London. It's time to really get the music out. I'll be starting this Sunday 8/10 in Atlanta auditioning for the "Showcase of the South". It's a music festival in Atlanta showcasing new artists whose music celebrates the south. Atlanta is the heart of urban music in the south right now and I'm super excited to get down there and introduce them to the "Dirty Blues". My fall schedule is really filling up so stay tuned and I'll keep you posted on all the shows. Hopefully you'll have t he time to come out when I come to your town. Whats up folks? Well as May continues I am in the studio continuing to finish up my album. We played the two newest songs at the last show and got a huge crowd response. New Years Eve Party was really Fun and super exciting!We will be posting one of the newest joints on the audio section soon so you can get a preview. As we finish up the album we are looking at other places to do shows. The last two shows were at the Cutting Room. We are looking at some other venues that may be more club type with standing room and space to walk it out! well folks we pulled off the 1st of many at the cutting room a couple of weeks ago and we’re at it again. This time the show will be prime Thursday night 4/17 at 7:30! The Cutting Room is one of the best live music venues in the city. They actually care how the music sounds. They treated me and all of my guests great! And I’m happy we’ll be back for round 2 on the 17th! It’s always a pleasure working with proper villains.

I got a chance to rub elbows with lil' John last night. And I gotta say he was a seriously cool dude. Bodyguards were accommodating. Women were hot but hospitable. And lil' John himself was very gracious. He even thanked me for pulling the the classic artist move (dropping my demo)(lol). All in all a great experience and a great guy.
