Aloha Everyone, Just wanted to keep you guys up to date on Ekolu and what will be going on for the year 2009. Hope you all are excited!!! * New Ekolu Album to be released (can't wait for ya'll to hear it) *Finishing up the construction of our Studio in Waiehu (Waiehu Records) *West Coast Tour in Sept. or Oct. of 09 *We are working on getting to GUAM and possibly NEW ZEALAND. *Another Japan Trip is in the works (we will keep you updated) *New Ekolu apparel (Shirts, Hats, Beanies, etc.) Its gonna be an exciting year so stay tuned and keep checking back. This is year was a very blessed year for Ekolu! Back in Febuary thanks to all the voters, Ekolu won Island Contemporary Album of the Year at the Hawaii Music Awards 2005. This award is truly the people's choice award cause people from all over the world get to vote. We truly appreciate all the voting that you people did....we couldn't have done it without you! To sweeten things up a little bit more, Ekolu just won Reggae Album of the Year at the Na Hoku Hano Hano Awards this past June 2005. We truly wanna thank Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ first of all for his blessings and for giving us the gift of music. Thank you all once again, to the fans and the voter's, you guys truly make us what we are today. Have a awesome day....Aloooha!
