Category: Friends
i am not sure how to write this, i have never had to write anything like this before.  our friend jonathan green has passed away.  i met jonathan when i was 13 years old and we formed our first band together when i was 17 along with our close friend jackson price.  this band would later become the big provider.  when i made the frightening decision to  transition from drums to vocals at the age of 21 jonathan stood by my side, encouraging me and strengthening my confidence.  we started four minutes til midnight together.  moved to hollywood and lived in a shitty little one bedroom apartment while attending music school together. ate, smoked, laughed, cried, fought, played, wrote and created music together.  he was one of my closest friends.  i would not be where i am today without having had him in my life.  his talent on the bass guitar opened doors for me that could never have been opened any other way.  life taking the turns that it does eventually led jonathan and i down different paths and away from one another.  we grew apart and lost contact over the last few years and for this i am forever regretful for i miss him very much and wish i could give him a hug and tell him how much i love him.  i write this now to encourage you all to take this opportunity to let the people whom are important to you know that they are. breath it in deep, notice the colors, live it.  all of our love and gratitude to you. we thank you for being a part of our lives. in loving memory of jonathan green.  eli taylor and 1156.

As most of you probably know we filmed our first music video in Sonora, my home town, before leaving on our tour to Japan.  It was truly one of the most kick ass experiences we have had as a band. To all the people who came together and donated their time, money, guns, hats, houses, girlfriends, whiskey, food, sanity, blood, sweat and tears, we would like to say thank you.  all of our love and gratitude, yeeeeeeeehawwwwwww bitches! now check it out and blow it up! eli.

Current mood:  blessed
What's up you guys? We are about to embark on a new experience, heading overseas and back to Japan to the home of Kenta and Yusuke.  I am very excited to have this oppertunity; i feel very lucky.  At the same time transition can be hard, leaving all that is familiar and jumping into the unknown, but like they say "you must let one door close before another one can open".  I just wanted to thank you all again for the love and support you have shown us over the last 5 years, you will all be in our thoughts and we look forward to sharing our stories with you from the land of the rising sun. peace and love, eli.

Hey, i just felt like letting everyone know that we are so fucking happy to be a part of this thing called music. Just being able to jam with people, creating something bigger than ourselves or our egos and then sharing it with others has got to be one of the greatest and most full-filling things you can do. To everyone who has ever come and seen us play, or jammed with us, or encouraged us to keep going i just want you all to know that you are our inspiration, our motivation and our stimulation, so thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! peace and love, eli
