The Dark Design Site has been updated. Give it time to load, the are a few issues with my web server.

Because I have two accounts I guess it hard for me to keep track of them or for that matter what the hell Im doing.  So I started posting stuff to the wrong blog.  This will be some much easier once I get darkdesignpictures.com fully functional.  So check out some pics from my shoots Day 1 and Day 3.

Today begins shooting of my new project Joined.  Joined is 50s style B-movie about conjoined twins Hope and Holly Butterworth.  Hope the nice one is beatnik poet who maybe has two brains cells to rub together.  Holly is the not so nice one is a prostitute and a complete bitch.  Hope and Holly have been arrested for the murder of a councilman.    That all I can really say without giving away the plot.   

So far Ive spent all day yesterday gathering up my last minutes supplies and props.  I spent a good amount of time in a gun store yesterday.  I was looking for a vintage style gun holster for the character Detective Barnes.  I didnt realize how model specific a damn should holster could be.  So I ran home and brought back them my blank firing replica.  Needless to say I had the gunsmith intrigued.  He asked if you could disassemble it.  Big mistake on his part, he spent about an hour trying to get the slide back on.  Tricky bastard.  The other guy I was talking to was a neat guy.  He does pool cleaning and works at a gun store and is a part-time musician.  His girlfriend is a model/actress and is with IFMASA.  So we exchanged info and I was on my way to get the lights.

After I got the lights from Mark, the wife and I went to go check out Clerks II.  Brilliant fucking movie!  After the wife went to sleep I had to run to Wally World to get a piece of black cloth for a backdrop.  It was after 11PM and I didnt have many options.  The lady helping was looking at me like I was on crack because I wanted so much black cloth.  I have to say it was rather humorous.  When I got back home I started watching the Season DVD of the Venture Brothers.  Great show and the director commentary is worth listening to.  Well Im off to go make a mockery.  Let see what kind of disaster this is going to be.
