It's been some time since this blogs been updated. Well, ZB played McGuinns in Lawrenceville on July 11, and the Cup In Linden on the 10th. Both were great shows. Many thanks to The Paper Jets for asking us to play at McGuinns. The Paper Jets had some great songs and great musicianship as well and the cd rocks so check them out. The Cup was really cool as well and we played with the rocking power outfit Diversity Theory. We look forward to play more gigs at these venues and with these cool bands.
So, Zigman Bird is rocking New York tonight, Thursday July 23rd at 10pm. Ah yes the New York stage... It's been a while but the ZB boys are going back to NY in style...Ready to give some dripping hot body fluids to a full crowd at the Village hot spot - Sin Sin/Leopard Lounge.

Wow. It almost felt like Ike had hit the ZB stronghold. Fortunately the foundation held. : ) After many months of rehearsals, ZB bit the bullet and played three sets of classic rock mixed in with our own 'classic' originals to a receptive Harley-Davidson audience at Williams Harley-Davidson in Lebanon, NJ on Saturday, 9/13. It didn't look promising the night before with all the rain but in the end, we were blessed with a dry day, albeit a bit on the muggy side. We couldn't have asked for a better day. No technical malfunctions, good performances, no heatstroke, the great Harley staff (we love ya Mike!) and the pleasure to see so many familiar faces (you know who you are!). And a great BIG THANK YOU goes out to John Gray for his pro sound expertise. Thank you friend. Now, of course after being out in the heat and rocking the way we do, you know that we were spent by the end of the event. But did we stop? HELL NO! ZB regrouped over at KC's Corner in South Plainfield to take part in their awesome BandFest 2! What a blast! Great bands, people and an incredible vibe. Gotta check out the place people. Props to Lenny who ran the event with a pro staff backing him up. So, all in all, a great weekend.
