Thanks to everyone who came out to see us last night! It was a great night, we played two shows in a row.

We played first at the Shelby County Applefest in Sidney and as soon as we finished up our set with 'If 6 Was 9', the heavens opened up and the rain came pouring down!

We loaded up fast and headed over to the 2nd Annual Miami Valley Music Festival in Bradford. What an awesome crowd!

Thanks to Nick Christian for inviting us and to Steve Smith who filled in for Brian and did an incredible job!

Awhile back we entered a competition sponsored by the CBS Early Show out of New York. We were pretty excited when CBS chose our band, Midnight Son, to be in their top 27 bands nationwide!

They will be showing our video performance along with two other bands this Monday morning July 9 on the CBS Early Show, channel 7, sometime between 7-9am(prob. after 8:30).

The band with the most votes moves on to the next round. The winning band at the end of the summer gets to fly to New York and perform LIVE on the CBS Early Show! We would really appreciate your vote!!!

To Vote for Us-

1- Go to www.cbsnews.com
2- Click on the Early Show Tab.
3- On the Early Show page there will be a ballot on the left that says"Living Room Live! Battle of the Bands." Vote for Midnight Son and Submit.

Voting starts at 9am Monday, July 9 and lasts until noon on Wednesday. You can vote as much as you like!!!

If we win this round we will advance to the semi-finals on Monday, July 16. If we move on please vote for us then too. Thank you for your support!

Last night we played at Wertzstock. It was alot of fun, and there were tons of people there (around a thousand by the end of the night). The stage setup was great, and the sound system was awsome. The PA reminded me of something you would see at the Fraze. It was our first time at the event and we had no idea it would be this big. It was put on by Wes Wertz. Also the band "Love Junkie" played as the headliner, and they sounded great. It was alot of fun to hear Jeff Madewell solo away on the guitar. A big thanks goes out to Jeff Madewell and "Love Junkie" for having us play.

We recently did a show for a woman's 81st birthday party. The show was in Tipp City, and the place was packed out! It was a real fun show, they had volley ball, baseball, horse shoes (game), dancing, and free food there! We played for an hour, and afterwards we sold 6 cds. A big thanks goes out to our friend Sandy Schipper, who hired us for the show. And happy birthday Mary!

Hello everybody, its been a long time since any of us have left a blog, so we've got some catchin' up to do lol. We recently had a photo shoot done. It went great! Mike Birt took our pictures. He gave us back 93 pictures, and we love all of them. He took our photos in his studio, the alleys, in giant underground pipes, in front of a train, on side streets, railroad tracks, along the edge of the city buildings, and even a picture of us attempting to hitch hike. So you can expect to see plenty more new pictures of our band soon. Myspace only lets us have so many pics on the site so we'll be changing the lineup of pictures off and on for you guys. For anyone wanting a photo shoot done on them we highly recomend Mike Birt. Thanks Mike.

Hey everyone! B-Rad here. I told everyone I would post after our trip, and since we got back Saturday I figured I should probably post since its Thursday. Well we had a real good time up at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, or RRHOF as I've been told it's called. They had tons of stuff from many artists. Some of the highlights were seeing Jimi Hendrix's clothes that he wore on stage, ZZ Top's car and metal guitars, Tom Petty's hat, and the huge Bob Dylan exhibit. They had a large variety of stuff from Aerosmith to Chuck Berry, Les Paul to The Ramones, T-Bone Walker, Louis Armstrong, and many others. Although through the whole trip I think that me and Reece had just as much fun hanging out at the hotel and the malls as we did at the RRHOF. Never the less, it was a nice getaway for a couple days.

As you may have noticed the layout has changed. This is to make it easier to add us as your friend if you haven't yet. It's finally back to normal where you just click on 'add' like you would any other page.

Well then, I'll be around later, so comment us!!

Hey everyone. Brad here. Reece has been updating you guys after every gig, I hope you enjoy it. You should leave him and me and the whole band some feedback here and on the site! But anyway, we sold CDs at the Fourth of July for $5, and they are still available. Just talk to me or Reece or Brian, and we'll get you one.

Well, Brian left for North Carolina a few days ago, so me and Reece decided to take our own little trip. Friday morning we leave to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!! Reece has been up there before, but for me this will be my first time. We'll tell you all about it when we get back.

We haven't really had anything going on the past few days with Brian out of town and all, but we still have some stuff planned. Soon band camp starts for Brian and I. So we will be taking a short leave for the month of October, but rest assured we'll be back with a vengeance when November rolls around!!! So until then, I leave you with these words of advice.....

1) Comment us!!!

2) If we aren't you're friend, add us!!

3) Enjoy the music!!!

4) Buy a CD!!!

We leave you with a new song put up a couple days ago.... Say. Feel free to download it to your iPods or whatever. They hold a bagillion songs, so why not?

Current mood:  accomplished

Last night we played an awsome gig at the West Milton July 4th festival. We set ourselves up on a hay wagon down below the hill behind Wertzes at the park. Prior to the gig it had rained off and on all day. We knew that if it rained during the time we were supposed to play, the show would be canceled. We were worried about that, but we all prayed real hard and sure enough the rain cleared up. It was a great crowd. There were 8,000 people there. The crowd we played to was on the hill and above the hill. There were about 2,000 people on the hill and over 2,000 people above the hill. At the end of the show I played the National Anthem, at the last note of the song (before the last wild solos and feedback) they shutt off all the lights, and rides at the same time and the fireworks started all going off. They had timed it out just right. It was a great experience. We also sold 20 cds there. If you saw our show or bought our cd we'd love it if you left us a comment and let us know how you liked it. Thanks
