Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter

I'm 25 years old. I never saw that shit coming. I never expected to live this long. That probably sounds crazy but it's true. And now that I've lived this long (or this short for the less nihilistic or paranoid) I kinda feel like I want another 25 years on top of that.

But this time I need to plan exactly what I want to put into the world. I don't have the privilege of having another childhood or anything. So now I have to think about having children myself. What do I want to teach them as an introduction to the ideology that they will eventually develop for themselves.

Ideology... damn thats a nice word right. By definition it is the body of doctrine, myth, belief, etc., that guides an individual, social movement, institution, class, or large group.

The ideology of one household does not necessarily reflect the same ideas as the rest of the community. So I just don't think I'll ever celebrate Halloween again in my life. And I will not teach that Pagan bullshit to my children in the future.

I won't tell you how to live your life, all I ask is that you know where the holiday comes from and then decide for yourself. But don't be a hypocrite and call yourself a Christian or a member of any monotheistic religion and then

send your kids out begging for candy.

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD .
