Ok, so my car isn't exactly what all you mainstream car-oriented-humans would think is cool.  It probably tops out at 85mph, but its selling point is that a table (YES, a Table!) can fold out of the back. No just think for a moment. Think of all the times when this amazing feature could come in handy, NO, SAVE YOUR LIFE! .... short on ideas? here, let me help you out.... :)

Situations When Having A Fold Out Table In Your Car Could Save Your Life:

1) It's midmorning on a Sunday and you find yourself driving through the picnic area of a local park. But, something is wrong. All the picnic tables are taken..... You downshift and move your foot to the gas in a bold attempt to get the hell out of there, but, its too late! A child holding a wicker picnic basket stands in front of your car, siblings to either side. Next thing you know, their desperate parents are at your window, holding a gun to your head (maybe real, maybe squirt, who knows), demanding access to YOUR table! You eject the table from the back and peace out, narrowly avoiding the chronic dog-walkers and disco-rollerbladers alike. As you find yourself safely underway, you can't help but think.... "What if I didn't have that table back there...." I guess you would either be dead or wet, depending on the gun, but either way, you would be glad for the table.

2) Ok so check this. Your driving out in the rain late on a saturday night, trying to make it to this bump'n club so you can get down like its 1599. Your doing good, wearing your seatbelt and NOT opening the emergency bottle of Jack Daniels in your glovebox, when totally out of nowhere comes this crazy psycho deer who jumps like an idiot out in front of your headlights! So you have little time to react, but your pretty smart, so you hit the brakes and swerve off the road, slamming into a guardrail. Guess what? Your seatbelt fails and you go flying through your nice tinted windshield and over into this huge ass ravine, falling for 250 thought provoking feet until you hit the ground and die. Think its over? Not even. So your laying there, dead, and just like in Bill and Ted's excellant adventure Death pops out of thin air and is like, "If you can beat me in one game of my choosing I will give you back your life." And your like, "What game?" And Death leans in real close and says, "Table football." I bet you would feel pretty stupid if you had to tell Death that you didn't have a table....

3) I don't know how many of you live in tornado country, I didn't think I did, until a few dozen tornados showed up... But anyway, back in kindergarden you start to see these signs telling you that in an emergancy, everyone should crawl down underneath their desk to protect themselves from flying stuff and falling stuff and stuff like that. And if you had a really overproductive teacher, you may have even practiced it during class. Anyway, years later, you're driving out in the middle of somewhere stupid, like kansas, and this huge tornado jumps out of the sky and hits the ground like 100 feet in front of your car! So you hit the brakes, and all these images start racing through your head from elementary school when your overproductive educator tought you the steps to take so you can survive this natural disaster. You keep your calm, and as everyone around you is running and screaming and getting sucked up into this spinning vortex, you calmly walk to the back of your car, remove your folding table, set it up right there in the road, crawl under it, and knowingly wait for the storm to pass. Meanwhile, I bet all those losers without fold out tables in their cars are thinking back to kindergarden and wishing they had paid more attention to those signs....

Hello everyone!  Getting some shows set up for 2008, so check back for show dates as they should begin to be posted.  If you would like a show in your town, send me a message and I'll figure one out!  Also, recording is progressing for the follow up album.  Look for a song or two from that album to appear on this music page before too long!

 Thanks again for listening!

Ok, so i just went and posted a new song, Roses Painted Red.  Its not a final version or anything, so I listed it under the album B-Sides, which is where I'll be placing songs recorded that aren't currently on an album.  :)

Hey all!  Just wanted to say that my brother and I are taking a few weeks off of playing shows so we can get more recording done for the next cd, finish making the new website, and put together a lot of other stuff.  So stay tuned.  I'll be putting new music up here before too too too long.

Thanks again for listening, have a great week and a happy Holiday Season!

Hey all, the website www.mcolemusic.com is down for the moment. We are switching web servers and actually switching domain names as well.  The new one will be much improved!  Check back for details!  :)

Also, some good shows are coming up!  CSU has a band cancel last minute so my brother and I will be playing in the RamSkellar tonight at 7pm!  We will be back at CSU in a few weeks, with a guaranteed to be fun show at Lucky Joe's in old town inbetween.  Check out the show list on my profile page for more information.

Thanks again for listening and have a great week!

Hello all!  :)  Well the summer was fun, did a little bit of traveling, did a little bit of music, and did a little bit of nothing.  All in all, a great couple of months.  But I'm back in colorado and starting to plan some shows for the fall and winter months.  Thanks again for listening, and stay tuned for updates!  :)

I hope you're all doing well,

What up all you people.  :)  Before I start my newest stream of semi-coherent rambling, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone out who is listening to this music and helping me so much with everything.  To all my friends, the new ones and the old ones, you are the best.  I appreciate your support so much, and it does make such a difference.  I feel like I can't really get that across enough.  My life has been so busy lately that I haven't been able to spend the time with all of you that I want to spend, and I feel like I haven't been able to give back half as much as you give to me.  Please know that you all mean so much to me.  So much.  From the deepest part of my heart, thank you.  ..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Life has been busy lately.  For everyone it seems.  :)  We'll survive.  Lots of new shows being planned for the summer.  Expanding into new areas.  Look forward to more shows in ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins and hopefully a few cities in between.  For those of you who don't know, I'm finishing up school right now, so it's been difficult to travel very far for music.  But June 1st signals the end of this Masters program, and from that moment I plan to pursue music in the same way I feel it has pursued me all these years.

Recording is underway for the next CD.  It's slated for sixteen songs at the moment.  And I'm pretty excited about it.  :)  Of course, I guess if I wasn't it would probably be a pretty bad sign. heh.  But anyway, it's going to rock.  Hopefully it will become available in local stores, from www.mcolemusic.com, at www.cdfreedom.com, and on Itunes in Fall 2007.

What else?  Who knows!  Stay tuned, and thanks again for listening.  :)  Have a great weekend!
