I rarely write blog statements but I feel compelled to in this situation.

As some of you may know Ludacris made and song endorsing Barack Obama and ridiculing his opponent and the current president. Barak had to release a statement condemning the song. With that being said here is my opinion and request of people, Black people.

As most of us know we have a Black Man running for the highest office in the land, President of the United States of America.

And we of this ethnicity know how difficult it can be just to survive, live and prosper through the conditions we face on a daily basis. I want to address the Black folks and the Niggas and everybody of African descent are or considers themselves American. I know we come from a strong and proud heritage and we have many opinions and we choose to express them whenever we feel. But for the sake of allowing a Brother some peace who by the way is campaigning to become the first black man elected to the Presidency of the United States, Shut the Hell up'. Ludacris, Jesse Jackson and everybody else who has some measure of celebrity ' Shut your F- ing Mouths' until the results are in. Do you remember the 2000 Election, how about the 2004 election, it's possible that the guy that gets the most votes doesn't win. So for all my pop culture/corporate rappers 'Shut Up'; you’re distracting the focus. The goal is to elect the first Black Man to the Presidency. I know you have a right to freedom of speech. Just cool your heels until the final vote is counted, be as vague as Barack Obama if need be. But don't rile up the media and give them stories to embellish and spin because you create a tension that the candidate (Barack) is trying to alleviate. You folks just need to follow the lead on this one, he (Barack) has decided on a certain agenda watch the pattern and 'Shut Up' and get off your soap box stop expressing your high horse righteousness. We all know our current president is special, along with his special administration you don't have to say a thing the proof has been documented and may be reported after he's gone (punk ass media) but that is another story.

Just imagine you come home from a hard days work and you discover your house in disarray and your mate is nagging you and this is all before you can unwind, wouldn't you be upset? This man is under more pressure than any other Black person in the country ' Shut Up' let the man have some peace at least from Black folk. He don't need your comments distracting his goal and hopes. Yeah he's popular but he is catching all types of hell on the low– Don't add to it.

Thank you for your time and don't say nothin' crazy while a recording device is in your presences.
