I like to update my blog every 18 months or so, so here goes...

Last Wednesday, I did a show across the street from Virgina Tech, two days after everything went down. This was a show I had booked for a few months before.

I'm so glad I did this show. They were quiet at first but I got them going. At the end they gave me a standing O. First time that happened. Anderson Cooper was filming at the hotel and would run in on the commercial breaks.

There were 75 people there. I must have shook hands with each one of them and they all said the same thing
"Thank you, we needed this."

So I talked to the manager of the Columbus Funnybone and he agreed to let me do a benefit show on 5/2. Proceeds will go to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund

If you're looking for a great show, watch Scrubs. I just started watching this 4 months ago, and now thanks to Comedy Central and DVR, I've seen nearly every one. My top 3 shows? Seinfeld (always), Scrubs and My Name is Earl.

My diet blows. I think the only way I'll ever lose weight again is if I cut off a leg.

Suck it MySpace.

I found out a few days ago that I am on the "potential" list to go to the Aspen/Vegas feastival. Keep your fingers crossed.

We did a tribute to The Wrath of Khan on the Bill and Dan show. It's a 3 episode with the dates of 10/9, 10/13 and 10/16.

    I just taped a showcase for HBO last night. I was worried about what to do right until I got on stage. Then I had one of the most kick ass sets I've ever had. It went so well the manager came up to me 3 times and told me how well it went. I couldn't be happier if I was Rob Durham's fan of the week. 

    The folks at HBO will take a look at the tape and see if there is anyone they want to send to the Aspen or Las Vegas comedy festival. I won't hear anything for a couple of weeks, so keep your fingers crossed.

    The Bill & Dan Show is growing by leaps and bounds. As of today, we're averaging 900 downloads of the show every week. Episode 67 deals with my horrific trek through Florida, Alabama and Michigan all in the same week. You can listen at www.billanddan.com

Just got back from a couple of one nighters in W.V. and Tenn. I spent over a $100 dollars in gas and it kicked my ass.

Just moved back to Columbus this week. I'm considering a move next year. Maybe New York or L.A. Probably New York. I need to make something happen.

I'm dieting again. It sucks. Nothing is worse than doing the road and trying to eat healthy. Thank God for Subway.

I've had 2 feature weeks at A clubs dropped out at the last minute. Oh well.

I just bought the ipod shuffle yesterday. I bought it because I hate going to the gym and having to change audio tapes, all while everyone looks at me like I'm some kind of techno-retard. I love the ipod although I look forward to upgrading soon simply because I hate not being able to look at what I want to play next. I'm doing a podcast with fellow comedian Dan Swartwout.
