I actually posted this the day after the win, but it didn't appear, but to all the LAKER haters....BWAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Yeah, baybee KB24 showed you he can do it without Shaq and that he's the best in the game!!! People slept last year when I was telling them about Trevor Ariza, who came up BIG and I gotta give props to D-SWISH and L.O. for making big contributions to the team. What a steal to get Shannon Brown, too!!! If we can keep these keys, we'll be back again to REPEAT!!! I gotta give love to our opponents, the Orlando Magic, because Dwight Howard is a fave of mine as a player and the team is owned by my contracting corporation, Amway Global. Like Kobe, it's been a great year for the company, which is in its 50th year of being debt free and privately owned. Besides, they sent the overrated LeBron James and Cavs home!!! Man what a year for Kobe!!!! Last year's NBA MVP, won gold this summer as an Olympian, All Star co-MVP (okay, it was good to see their combo one more time), returned to the Finals as Champions and became the Finals MVP!!!! Now if the Sparks and Dodgers can do the same....

I can hardly believe that the LORD has blessed me with 40 years here on earth. In this day and age, I might not have even been born, but His plans are not ours. A kid born in Watts to a teen mom and raised by his grandparents is now GROWN!!!
Now I'm a youth pastor, entrepreneur, producer of a Gospel video show, husband, father of 3...I'm BLESSED!!!
I'm thankful for all my friends here on myspace for the well wishes and sharing your lives and music with me.
My goal is to be financially FREE and to be a full time husband and father and mentor like those who have blessed me in the World Wide Dreambuilders organization. This is the year....FREEDOM!!!

My heart is heavy. We had great church service on Sunday and when I was leaving, a woman walked up to me and gave me grave news. Her son, Dennis - who I baptized the previous month- was killed on the previous day!!! Dennis stood in response to the altar call. My pastor sent me to counsel with him and I led him in prayer to receive Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I gave him my number and made it a point to put his in my phone. I encouraged him to get into the Word and get active in the church. He told me that he had issues with his dad and was in fact a father, himself, of a baby boy. I prayed with him and encouraged him to make it to Wednesday night where I teach the young people's Bible study. Dennis was there faithfully on Wednesday and for Sunday worship. Although nobody came with him, he was there. My Bible study is open to discussion and using the Scriptures to deal with contemporary issues. He asked questions and was concerned about his past. I told him that when he accepted Christ, the old was history (2 Corinthians 5:17). This past Wednesday, he brought his son to me stating that he had just turned 1. So you can see that I was totally shocked that his mother told me that he was gone. At 21?!? I know I live in the inner-city of WATTS and that people are taken prematurely everyday, but I just saw him Wednesday!!!! So I am sooo grateful that he gave his life to Jesus and is in Heaven, but am mourning the life of a kid that was in my life for too short of a time. Pray that I get to minister to his family. It seems knuckle heads get chance after chance but someone trying to change their life gets taken out just for just walking up to the local liquor store. I hope to make a difference in other lives before its too late.

Today my oldest daughter started Kindergarten!!! From last summer until last week, she attended a fine Preschool which is connected to her current school. Since the schools in my area stink, we got her in the preschool LA UP program. As a result we got a waver for the new school since the preschool has an after school day care. WHOO-HOO!!!
The only downside is the parking is limited and there were cars everywhere!!! My wife went in with her and I drove around with the twins until she was done. The thrill though was when we were coming back, Sydney was at the front of her class's line. She loves school. I hope she keeps that attitude.
In all of this, our business is off and running like never before. God has given us a group of people with vision and a love for God. We are gearing up for our October conference in Denver and are a sneeze away from the "Eagle" section - which is a great honor with front row seating and pampering. We just need one more leg to break the 100 mark. Most of the work is attributed to my go-getter wife. I will be a full-time dad and entrepreneur by next year.

My wife and I just returned from our Business function in Portland Oregon on Monday. Last year about this time, we returned from the same place when during the following week, my wife experienced what we later found out were contractions with our twin girls. They were not due for another 4 months and the pregnancy was going so well.
Since she was feeling worse, we decided to go the hospital. Who knew that we'd have to have preparation for an emergency c-section since her water had broken. We were told that the survival chance for them would be slim or that their quality of life would be that of the individuals I've worked with for the past 15 years - those with developmental disabilities. Being born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we went into prayer and I turned to many of you here as well as church and family to agree with us for our babies.
Rebekah Zoe and Taylor Chloe were born at 1 lb. 2 oz and 1 lb. 3 1/2 oz, repectively at 23 weeks. We experienced many hours going to and from home to hospital to visit our babies on a daily basis. At one point the babies were transferred to another hospital for surgeries and were seperated a few times where we had to visit one baby at one hospital and the other at another.
As the old folks used to sing, "My soul looks back and wonders 'how I got over?'" I know it's nothing but GOD!!! The babies will be 1 on the 20th and I am blown away that God has used these children for His glory. Don't tell me there is no God...I KNOW HE LIVES!!!!
Thank you for your prayers. They are well and talking up a storm in gibberish. Rebekah is able to sit up and has teeth coming in. Taylor is starting to scoot and is a joy. What a blessing to raise these miracles.

It's amazing that 8 years ago, I watched my wife walk down the ailse and before God and man pledged our devotion to God and each other for the rest of our lives. We have experienced death in our families, miscarriages, and the premature births of our three daughters, but God has been faithful and blessed us beyond measure.
God truly gave me what I NEEDED. I never thought to have hooked up with her, but it was truly divine in its creation. I love her more and more each day and thank God for a woman who cooks for me, takes care of my kids, has drive and determination, and most of all loves me with all her being. I am truly blessed!!!!

For all the HATERADE folk have been giving me for supporting Kobe Bryant and the Lakers, this is for YOU!!!! Not only have the Lakes gone from not making the playoffs when we first traded Shaq, to getting blown out by the Suns the past two seasons, to being the WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS and going to face Kevin Garnett and the Celtics to revive the greatest rivalry in NBA history!!!!
Kobe went from the most hated and spoiled player, to the MVP of the league and poised on getting the same in the Finals. I've been a Laker fan since the debut of Magic Johnson. I even played baseball one season with Michael Cooper's younger brother, Terrence. A.C. Green is one of my heroes on and off the court for his stance on abstinence.
I did stray when A.C. was traded to the Suns, but came back to my senses!!!! I started watching faithfully since the '99-00 season with the advent of Phil Jackson and the Shaq-Kobe era. My brothers are true haters for some reason and relished the 3-Peat domination.
I'm truly anticipating the Championship and will definitely be at the parade this year. GOOOO LAKERS!!!!
